THE TYPES OF TANTRA;--

18 FACTS;- 1-Indian Tantra is divided into the following major areas: Tantra of Natha, Sri Vidya Tantra, Trika or Kashmir Shaivism, Kali-vidya, Kula, Vaishnava-tantra, Saura-tantra, Ganapatya-tantra.

2-Generally all these different directions with their branches are divided into dakshinachara and vamachara. 3-In dakshinachara a deity is worshipped and realization of siddhis comes through pujas (worship in the form of rituals) with Murti (a face of the god) or yantra (a graphic image of mystical energies of divinities).

4-Diksha (initiation) can be given by the Guru and the technique of sadhana for realization of siddhis; then the disciple must practice in accordance with Guru's upadeshas. For example, Guru may bestow a mantra of some divine aspect, mantra should be repeated a certain number of times, this is called purashcharana. Then a worship of deity must be committed, which is homa.

5-Nathas commonly use shabar-mantras which can be either recited in Sanskrit or other Indian languages. Mahayogi Matsyendranatha have received shabar-mantras from Adinatha Shiva and later this mantras continued to spread in natha tradition. Shabar-mantras are used by aghori and other practitioners of tantra. It is very important in tantra to study a lot of related sciences, such as Jyotish, Mantrology, Sanskrit, Numerology etc. for the correct sadhana. 6-Another well-known variety of tantra is called vamachara, or Left-hand path. It is so named because it uses that kind of elements of deity worship which are not used in the orthodox religion. This known as panchamakara (Five "M"s) five species of pleasure-----The misperception of tantra.

7-In vamachara practitioners of tantra appeal to a deity to come in their own bodies instead of images of divinities, committing avahana, and worship a deity directly in their own bodies. Thus one's body becomes a temple of divinities. Such rituals can be collective, in this case they are called chakra-puja, sadhaka focuses more on anubhava (firsthand experience), rather than on ritual conventionalities. However, most often before going into practice of vamachara, Guru recommends a disciple to realize siddhis of a mantra through dakshinachara sadhana. 8-Whether it is a tantric sadhana, dakshinachara or vamachara, it is considered to be introductory stage to divyachara (adherence to the divine path). This third method refers to the practice of yoga of Nathas or siddha-yoga and can be used only by spiritually grown people, who are established in devotion to Guru and yogic path. Sadhana is selected according to astrological calculations and personal qualities of a disciple. 9-In addition, practice of tantra is known for its magical techniques, which may be applied only taking into consideration many laws. A real practitioner of tantra uses them in extremely rare and very necessary cases, but any practitioner has to know the theory of these processes. This shat-karma (six magic rituals): shanti-karma which forming of peace and tranquility in the society. 10-True practitioner of tantra knows the nature of these phenomena, but did not use them, because he has bhakti (devotion to divinities) and so is under the patronage of Ishtadeva. Therefore, the correct goal in tantra is, first of all, bhakti and God-realization. Divya-marga means purity of motivation, which is important both in yogic and tantric sadhanas 11-The simple principle of tantra yoga is--- whatever can take you down can also take you up. The ways in which a man usually sinks in his life are through food, alcoholic drink and sexuality. Tantra yoga controls the same three vehicles to rise up. Tantra is about building our energies to the fountain-head of the uppermost dimension of the energy system, so that one’s energies spill from the top. 12-Of the different energy manifestations in the body – referred to as the 7chakras – spilling from the top three is considered the highest. If you have to build up to this, every basic instinct, emotions, intellect and survival process must be used to build and hype the energy system. The intention is to deploy all instincts for which a certain amount of energy is dedicated in the body. If one goes into an actual build-up ,,, then the purpose of it will be lost. 13-But once people start using certain substances, they must be in a certain state, otherwise it just becomes addiction. This needs extreme discipline, a kind of discipline which is not possible for most people to even attempt. When people walk this kind of path, if a 100 people take it up, 99 will end up only as; So tantra is not some weird nonsense. It is a certain capability. Without it there is no possibility.

14-The question is “How refined is your tantra?” If you want to make your energies move, do you have to do 10,000 rituals or can you just sit here and do it. That is the big difference. Low technology or high technology is the question, but without tantra, there is no spiritual process. 15-Tantra yoga--- It’s not about huffing and puffing. The Guru-shishya relationship is to deliver the shishya to a higher dimension of consciousness, not trap one into the compulsive nature of sexuality. 16-People always try to take recourse (a source of help in a difficult situation) in the Krishna-Gopi relationship. As the legend goes, Krishna gave an DIVIVE experience to 16,000 women simultaneously. This cannot happen with sexual union. SRI KRISHANA IS BRAHMAN,,,SO HOW CAN WE COMPARE WITH THE UNION OF SOUL & SUPERSOUL.....WHAT IS DIVINE UNION----IT CAN BE EXPLAINED BY ONLY GOPIS OR SRI KRISHNA & BOTH OF THEM ARE NOT COMING,,, ON THIS EARTH TO ANSWER THESE SO CALLED GURUS....

17-A shishya can establish a very intimate relationship with a Guru. Intimacy is generally understood only as two bodies touching --in this material world. The body is not intimate enough for one who is on the spiritual path. The physical body is an accumulation from outside, so in the tantric and yogic systems, the body is never considered an intimate part of you. Only when energies meet and mingle and a Guru’s energies overwhelm and override the shishya’s energies, it leads to an divine experience – a union of soul & super soul----deep samadhi. 18-If all you want is to do a meditation or spiritual practice, you don’t really need a Guru. The Guru is here essentially to overwhelm you with nameless ecstasies. So tantra is a technology of liberation, not enslavement. you can't purchase god----so don't make effort to befool yourself.

....SHIVOHAM.....
