WHAT IS THE MEANING OF GUPT NAVRATRI ?

IMPORTANCE OF NAVRATRI;-

1-Magh Navratri takes place in month of February every year. It is being observed in the Shukla Paksha of month of Magh. These Navratri days are very propitious to throw away all worldly evils by performing detailed Vedic Puja.It is measured that if devotees chant the shlokas or mantras with full allegiance, Goddess will fulfill all the wishes of the individual. Principally the Goddess during these days is worshipped in three forms- power, wealth and wisdom 2-There are four Navratris in a year – While of these, the Ashwin and Vasanth Navratri are famous and celebrated with much pomp and grandeur, the two unknown or rather lesser known Navratris are Magh and Asadh Navratri. 3-They are known as Gupt Navratri, simply because not many have heard of them. These Navratris are meant for sadhaks who perform specialized tantric rituals, vashikarans, uchatans, stambhan, videshan and maran rituals 4-As we know, Gupt Navratri simply means unheard of or secret. Of the two Gupt Navratris, Magh Navratri is celebrated prominently in the northern region of India – Uttar Pradesh, Himachal, Uttarakhand, Haryana and Punjab. While Ashadh Navratri is celebrated prominently in Southern states of India. 5-Unlike the grand celebrations during the Ashwin and Vasanth Navratri, the celebrations or rather prayers for Gupt Navratri are done secretly or simply without much fuss. This is because it is a very auspicious time and the best time to remedy one’s self of ill and gain riddhi-siddhi. WHAT IS MEANT BY NAVRATRI ?-

02 FACTS;- 1-Navratri means nine nights. This festival is celebrated during nine days and nights and each day has its importance of different incarnations of Shakti or Maa Durga. In this specific form of festival Durga is worshipped in the form of mother. 2-Navratri is thought to be the most auspicious time to worship Maa Durga because in this period she spreads her energy to all for the sake of well-being of the people and to destroy the evil vibes. This festival is also known as the Durga Puja in most of the parts of the country. People celebrate the Navratri celebration four times every year.

NAME FOUR NAVRATRI;- The four Navratri’s that are being celebrated are Ashad Navratri, Ashwin Navratri, Magh Navratri and Vasantha Navratri. Ashwin Navratri and Vasantha (Chaitra) Navratri are performed by all. But Ashad Navratri and Magh Navratri are known as Gupt Navratri and are mainly performed by the sadhkas (spiritual seekers) to perform powerful tantrik rituals .

THE SIGNIFICANCE OF GUPT NAVRATRI;--

05 FACTS;- 1-Pooja done during the Navratras of the Magh month provides a shield against any sort of danger or injury and devotee attains riddhi & siddhi.During the nine days of Magh 2- Gupt Navratri, prayers are offered to Ma Dusmahavidya to seek blessings and gain fortitude. Holy texts like Shrimad Devi Bhagwat, Devi Mahatmya , the Shri Durgasapshati path are recited. 3-During the nine-day long Gupt Navratri festivals, devotees pay tribute to Ma Durga in the form of fasts, daan and reciting shlokas. It is said that during these nine days whatever the devotee wishes for earnestly, will be granted by Ma promptly. 4-She is worshipped in the three forms of the divine femininity: as the remover of vices, as the bestower of wealth and prosperity, and as the goddess of wisdom.Those, who worship Maa Durga with complete devotion and dedication, attains blessings of Maa in the form of wealth, prosperity and knowledge 5-It is believed that Goddess Shakti alleviates all sorts of distress and suffering from the life of the devotee. There are mainly two kul--Kali kul &sri kul.This is the best time to begin the sadhana for beginners & for sadhaks---good time to reach bodiless zero state. .....SHIVOHAM.......
