IS MEDITATION ESSENTIAL?-

04 FACTS;-

1-“When kundalini energy activates it offers an opportunity for the complete transformation of your life. It will support you in your deepest longing for Truth and Self-Realization, if you will only surrender and trust the process.” 2-A full Kundalini Awakening is a specific energetic experience that means all of the knots and issues of the psyche have been resolved. It’s extraordinarily rare. Most people who experience some type of energetic experience are not experiencing a full awakening, but the beginnings of the movement of Kundalini in the body. It is the natural evolution of the human being, awakening to higher levels of consciousness. 3-Kundalini is the mothering energy that is lying dormant at the base of the spine in the sacrum bone. This energy is awakened by a process called Enlightenment (Self-realization) to connect us to the Divine and begin its work of healing and balancing our chakras. 4-Kundalini lies dormant but, like a tiny seed when the conditions are right, can awaken and grow into a mighty tree. In the same way that an electrical cable connects a computer to the mains, the awakened Kundalini connects the human awareness to the all-pervading power of divine love. RELATION OF KUNDALINI & MEDITATION;-

07 FACTS;- 1- The Kundalini can be thought of as a rope with a thousand strands; when we first get Enlightenment (Self-realization), only one or two strands find their way through the chakras and reach the Sahasrara (the top chakra).

2-However, with twice daily meditation, gradually more strands of the Kundalini connect us to the divine power and the experience of meditation becomes more profound and blissful. The Kundalini was described by Indian saints such as Adi Shankaracharya (c 600 a.d.), Kabir (c 1500 a.d.) and Jnanadeva (c 1200 a.d.) amongst others. 3-Once ‘Kundalini awakening’ has taken place and is established through meditation the Kundalini is said to automatically purify the subtle body and thus dispel all mental, physical and spiritual diseases.

4-Kundalini can be activated through any of the yoga practices, including mantra repetition, meditation and even hatha yoga. However, awakening the kundalini is one thing; taking it to the deeper levels is where meditation comes in.The path of yoga is said to be the eightfold path.Awakening the kundalini is one thing; taking it to the deeper levels is where meditation comes in.

5-Meditation is the most profound practice, because it will take you to that inner state. Spirituality occurs within, and only meditation will take the mind internally and finally to the level of the soul.If you are hungry, you might go to the kitchen and prepare a meal but just preparing the meal will not satisfy the hunger. You have to sit down and eat. Meditation is that state of eating, so to speak. It is what brings the experience of the taste and the satisfaction of the hunger.

6-No matter what practice may be done externally, at some point that external quality needs to dissolve and become internal, and that’s meditation.

7-Preparation is imperative: It is easy to read the descriptions in the books about Kundalini Awakening and the union of Shiva and Shakti, and to want to have this immediately. This seems to be a natural desire, that is useful if properly channeled into the motivation to do the practices.

7-1-However, it is imperative that one be prepared for the energy that may be released in such an experience. If one is not ready, it can be like putting too much electricity through a small wire or fuse, and that is not useful in the long rung. It is far better to be prepared, to make the body a healthy vehicle, the breath a balanced channel of energy, and the mind an intellectually and emotionally stable conduit for the experience.

WHAT ARE THE TWO METHODS OF AWAKENING?-

When one questions how to awaken Kundalini, the question usually refers to the specific technique that is used. However, Kundalini Awakening may ultimately occur with all methods, even those that do not seem to be directly related to Kundalini. Thus, we have two general approaches with the various practices, those that are more immediate and those that are more mediate. The specific practices may overlap, or be part of both approaches.

1-MEDIATE METHOD :-

Mediate means indirect; acting through a secondary agency, method, or practices; the slower, more gentle approach. The mediate or indirect approach might involve religious rituals, Bhakti Yoga (devotional), Jnana Yoga (self-enquiry), Karma Yoga (action in the world), simple mantra chanting, gentler meditation focusing on more gross level objects. These approaches are more suited to practice without guidance, though it is beneficial and recommended.

2-IMMEDIATE METHOD :-

03 FACTS;-

1-Immediate means direct; not acting through a secondary agency, method, or practice; the quicker, more forceful approach. The immediate or direct approach might involve the various asanas, locks, and breathing practices, as well as more intense meditation practices.

2-It may include Hatha Yoga, Kriya Yoga, Kundalini Yoga, Raja Yoga, and Tantra Yoga. With these approaches, it is important to have external guidance so as to learn properly.

3-For the intentional, immediate or direct awakening of Kundalini, there are several categories of practices, and these are generally chosen in alignment with one's particular teacher and tradition:--

A-Physical:--

These methods involve postures, Tratak

B-Pranayam;-

Vigorous breathing practices (Pranayama), along with the Bandhas, and breath retention.

C-Meditation:--

The intensity of concentration leading to Meditation and various levels of Samadhi.

D-Mantra: --

Some of the Mantra schools work with subtle vibrations to awaken the various aspects of latent energy.

ARE KRIYAS A SIGNPOSTS?--

04 FACTS;-

1-Sometimes there might be bursts of energy, called Kriyas, which cause a jolt throughout the spine (meru danda) and the body. They may be sharp, quick, and mild, or they may come as a powerful jolt that causes the body to jump.

2-Such a jolt may come from time to time in meditation, experienced as a single burst of energy. These often bring varying degrees of fear, as they may seem to be a threat to our existence.

3-Gradually, as the energy is understood and assimilated, the Kriyas come more like a quick wave of reassuring warmth, which brings a wave of peace. They serve as gentle reminders of progress on the spiritual journey.

4-Kriyas are neither seizures nor Kundalini: When not understood, these Kriyas can be confused with seizures because of the way they cause a jolt in the nervous and muscular systems. Because of the warmth or peaceful feeling that can come with, or after the Kriyas, they can be confused with Kundalini Awakening, which they are not. Once again, they may be pleasant experiences that serve as inspiration along the journey.

SEVEN CHAKRAS & THREE PATHS OF TANTRA;-

Of the three paths of Tantra, Kaula Tantra begins with practices in the first chakra, muladhara chakra, and emphasizes external practices. Mishra Tantra works more with the middle chakras, dealing both with the external and internal, while Samaya Tantra works with the upper chakras, dealing solely with the internal practices. IMPORTANCE OF MANTRA;--

05 FACTS;- 1-Mantra jap--Mantra should be taken by an enlightened teacher but he/she would not give this technique without initiating you into this technique. This calls for the teacher to give you shaktipat, to actually awaken your kundalini by chanting mantra or simply by focusing their energy on you. 2-So to awaken this energy yourself, there is an easy technique but a very important one. And that is to silently repeat the name of an enlightened teacher, Guru or Saint that you feel connected to whether you have met or not as Jagatguru adi shankaracharya,Guru vedvyas &so on.

3-Atma is immortal,so these gurus are present in their philosophy & their scriptures . If you are not respecting them---you can't receive their perception also. 4-At present to find a guru is a hard nut to crack. All are either mentor or compiler only-- including me.The REAL GURUS are sitting inside the cave of Himalayas---spreading their vibes but meeting only those who deserve. It is said--you get guru when you are eligible or deserve. 5-If you begin with Gyatri--Then make naman to guru Viswamitra--, & if begin with Panchadsi--then make naman to guru Adi Shankeracharya. My experience;- 1-The mantra of Vedas & Mahanirvan Tantra;--

"OM SAT CHIT EIKM BRAHAMA" should be recited after making naman to guru (ADI SHANKARA). 2-The purascharan should be minimum two &half lakh. You can repeat the name as you inhale, and repeat the name as you exhale. The reason for this is that you take on the Shakti (energy) of what you focus on. So simply by repeating the name of OM, you take on the energy, the state of bliss.

3-This technique is thousands of years old and is still used today because it is so effective.BRAHMA MANTRA means the mantra of SUPREME POWER----so no matter you took bathe or not----because his presence is everywhere, may be Ganga or-----?

... SHIVOHAM.....
