WHO IS KAMDEV? - 16 FACTS:-

1-Kamadev is known as the Indian Cupid. He is the Hindu God of love . Kama means sensuous love, wish, desire, longing or sexuality and Deva means heavenly or divine.In the Atharva-Veda, Kama is described as desire and not sexual enjoyment. 2-Kamadev is also believed to be a demigod of the heavenly planets that are responsible for inducing lusty desires. Lord Kamadev is the God of Love and is the husband of Rati, the Goddess of Love. 3-Some myths also suggest that Kamadev is the son of Brahma and is associated with Lord Shiva. However, Lord Kamadev is not worshiped on a larger basis.

4-Kamdev is portrayed as young, handsome man with wings carrying a bow and arrows. His bow is made of sugarcane with a cord of honeybees, and arrows of sweet-smelling Ashoka tree flowers, white and blue lotus flowers, Jasmine and Mango tree flowers. Lord Kamdev is seen sitting on a Parrot. 5-Kamadeva (Sanskrit) [from kama desire + deva god, divinity] The Hindu god of love, one of the Visve-devas in the Hindu pantheon. As the Eros of Hesiod was connected in early Greek mythology with the world's creation, and only afterwards became degraded into the passional Cupid, so was Kama in his original meaning as used in the Vedas, which gives the metaphysical and philosophical significance of his functions in the cosmos. 6-Kama is the first conscious, all-embracing desire for universal good, love, and the first feeling of infinite compassion and mercy for all that lives and feels, needs help and kindness, that arose in the consciousness of the creative One Force, as soon as it came into life and being as a ray from the Absolute. 7-Kama "is in the Rig-Veda the personification of that feeling which leads and propels to creation. He was the first movement that stirred the One, after its manifestation from the purely abstract principle, to create. 'Desire first arose in It, which was the primal germ of mind; and which sages, searching with their intellect, have discovered to be the bond which connects Entity with Non-Entity' "- or manas with pure atma-buddhi. Only later did kama become the power that gratifies desire on the animal plane. 8-Kāmadeva (Sanskrit in Devanagari: कामदेव), (Bengali: কামদেব), (Kannada: ಕಾಮದೇವ) also called Māra, is the Hindu god of human love or desire. Other names for him include; Manmatha (Kannada: ಮನ್ಮಥ), Manmathudu (Telugu: మన్మథుడు) Atanu (Telugu: అతను) (one without a body), Ragavrinta (stalk of passion),Ananga (incorporeal), Kandarpa (inflamer even of a god), Madan "Manmatha" मन्मथ (churner of hearts), Manasija {he who is born of mind}, a contraction of the Sanskrit phrase Sah Manasah jāta), Madana (intoxicating), Ratikānta (lord of Rati), Pushpavān, Pushpadhanva, Kusumashara कुसुमशर (one with arrow of flowers) or just Kāma (longing).

9-Kamadeva is the son of the Hindu goddess Sri and, additionally, Pradyumna, Krishna’s son, is considered to be an incarnation of Kamadeva. 10-Some of the attributes of Kamadeva are: his companions are a cuckoo, a parrot, humming bees, the season of spring, and the gentle breeze. All these are symbols of spring season, when his festival is celebrated as Holi, Holika or Vasanta. 11-In the Gaudiya Vaishnava tradition, Krishna is identified as the original Kamadeva in Vrindavana. The demigod Kamadeva also incarnates as Krishna's son Pradyumna after being burned down by Shiva. Since he was begotten by Krishna himself, his qualities were similar to those of Krishna, such as his colour, appearance and attributes.

12-This Pradyumna is an individual soul (jiva-tattva) who, owing to his celestial powers, becomes an emanation of Vishnu's prowess(skill). 13-The Kamadeva that was incinerated( burn up),is believed to be a celestial demigod capable of inducing lusty desires. He is distinguished from the spiritual Kamadeva. Here Krishna is the source of Kamadeva's inciting power, the ever-fresh transcendental god of love of Vrindavana, the origin of all forms of Kamadeva, yet above mundane love, who is worshiped with the Kama-Gayatri and Kama-Bija mantras. 14-When Kamadeva is referenced as smara in Bhāgavata Purāṇa in the context of the supramundane love between Krishna and the gopis , he is not the deva who incites lusty feelings.The word smara rather refers to Krishna himself, who through the medium of his flute increases his influence on the devoted gopis.

15-The symptoms of this smarodayam (lit. "arousal of desire" but here desire to go deep in samadhi ) experienced by the gopis have been described as follows--"First comes attraction expressed through the eyes, then intense attachment in the mind, then determination, loss of sleep, becoming emaciated, uninterested in external things, shamelessness, madness, becoming stunned, and death.

16-These are the ten stages of Cupid’s effects.The beauty of Krishna's consort, Radha, who is equal in the universe, and her power constantly defeats the god of love, Kamadeva. THE ESSENCE OF FOUR POSTS;- Before inviting MA Shakti the creation was based on LOVE.In this way there was no difference between mother & wife.The only difference was of Respect only. MOTHER was elder one;so touching the feet was essential while wife was treated as friend one.MA SARASWATI IS WIFE OR DAUGHTER OF BRAHMA this is not a matter in upper lokas. 2-WHAT IS LOVE?--

02 POINTS;- 1-A CHILD IS LOVED BY PARENTS.Parents kiss, embrace, whatever is done by parents is cateroized as love.They care ,save ,feed ,bring -up & so on; because no end of the duties and responsibilities of the parents. 2- The mind -born creation of Brahma is free from lust & mortality(in comparison to human being) .That is why SAPT-RISHI-MANDAL & so many others are present & respected by us. 3-WHAT IS DIVINE LOVE ?

07 POINTS;- 1-Now it is very-- very clear that in higher seven LOKS ;ONLY DIVINE LOVE (KAMDEV) IS PRESENT ;NO KAM or COHABITATION.. 2-CHILDREN ARE PRODUCED WITH SANKALP & COMBINED ENERGY OF COUPLE ONLY; which includes 'UNION OF FIVE TANMATRAS'.Sankalpa means an intention formed by the heart and mind -- a solemn vow, determination, or will.A sankalpa is a tool meant to harness the will, and to focus and harmonize mind and body.

3-FOR EXAMPLE,the birth of KARTIKEYA (LORD MURUGAN SWAMI),- THE SON OF SHIVA & SHAKTI .. Though Shiva is described as the symbol of virility, he never had children. He spilled his seed into a sacrificial fire. When we say a sacrificial fire, it need not necessarily be a fire. It is a “Homa Kund”. A Homa Kund was like a laboratory for the rishis, where they created many things.

3-1-Ma Parvati ,through her tantric powers, merged these six little fetuses into one, embedding six beings in one single body, and Kartikeya was born. Even today, Kartikeya is referred to as “Arumuga” or six-faced. He was a phenomenally capable human being.

WHAT IS THE IMPORTANCE OF GURU?-

07 FACTS;- 1- Guru is not a physical form.Guru is energy, the medium through which jnana or knowledge flows to the shishya or disciple.

2- Guru takes full responsibility of the shishya, monitors him every second. Guru literally carries the shishya on the journey of evolution. There are lots of glories described in our Scriptures for Guru.. We should RESPECT our guru & Express our Gratitude to him . 3-However, there is a tendency within Hinduism for the development of guru “cults” where the worship of guru supersedes the worship of God. This generally takes place when the original idea of guru as teacher becomes diminished and is replaced by the idea of guru as "blesser."

4-To be blessed by a guru is considered the greatest thing, but people forget that the real blessing of a guru comes in the form of study, discipline, and hard work that leads to knowledge and wisdom and not just with the touch of a hand.

5-The touch of Maheshwar awoke KUNDALINI of MATA SATI but failed to Awaken seven chakra. If it could be possible THEN WHAT IS THE NEED TO PERFORM TAP (PENANCE) FOR MANY YEARS by MATA PARVATI KARTIKEYA ,or ASHOKSUNDARI.

The sixth chakra is guru (jupiter).Those who render service to humanity reach there but some chances are to be entrapped again .This is the last testing of MAYA WHERE SADHAK RUNS AFTER VIVEK KHAYATI (REPUTATION) WHICH IS THE LAST STAGE OF SAMADHI .THE RESULT IS LIKE THE GAME OF SNAKE & LADDER..

07 FACTS;- 1-Snakes and Ladders is an original Indian game. The meaning of the game is that ''good deeds will take people to heaven while evil deeds will lead to a cycle of rebirths''.
