It is a major festival of Sanatan Dharma.The Sun represents the Male energy and the Moon represents the female energy. let us see just one example of the many of both energies impact on us. On Akshaya Tritiya the whole existence is the “Akshaya Patram”, manifesting abundance and the Unlimited. 8-:Legends Associated with the day- There are mainly four significant legends associated with Akshaya Tritiya. They are as follows- 8-1-. This day is observed as the birthday of Lord Parashurama, the sixth incarnation of Vishnu. 8-2. According to another legend, during the time of the Mahabharata when the Pandavas were in exile, Lord Krishna, on this day, presented them an ‘Akshaya Patra’ a vessel which would produce an unlimited supply of food on demand. 8-3. This day marks the beginning of “Satayug - the Golden age” as mentioned in the Vedas. 8-4. The last is the popular legend of Krishna and his childhood friend Sudama who visits him to ask him for financial help.Sudama visited Lord Krishna on this day. As the story goes, Sudama offers Krishna a handful of beaten rice “Poha”. When Sudama reaches home he is astonished that his poor hut has been transformed into a Palace. Without asking, Krishna showers his family with unlimited riches. 8-5-Veda Vyasa started depicting epic Mahabharta to Lord Ganesha on this day. 8-6-At Puri Jagannath temple Candanotsavam is performed for Lord Jagannath. 8-7-Orrisa Construction of Chariots for Rath Yatra start beginning on this day 9-Birth of Great Souls:-- People born under this auspicious period are destined to be great souls. 03 POINTS;- 1-Akshaya Tritiya is celebrated in a true grand fashion, just like the Kings and Queens in Ancient times. There are Gajas (elephants), ashwas (horses) and cows. They are being honored. These incredible animals symbolize kingliness, authority, magnanimity, energy, compassion and abundance. Elephant Pooja: Jupiter is the ruling planet of this magnificent animal. The elephant is a symbol of respect, honor, magnanimity and power.

2-First the elephant is bathed, then dressed and decorated, offered light, incense, flowers and food while Vedic priests voice the appropriate mantras and chants. This invokes the blessings of Lord Ganesha, the elephant headed God who removes all obstacles. 3-Horse Pooja: The horse is first bathed, decorated and dressed and then offerings are made. . The horse is a symbol for the Sun that represents Royalty, Wealth & Strength. Cow Pooja: The cow and her calf are first bathed, dressed and decorated and then only the pooja is offered. The cow is the symbol of love and ever giving and symbolic of the Planet Venus. 13-Tarpan to Deities and ancestors ;-

02 POINTS;- 1-This day is marked with increased spiritual purity in native by 60-70%. On other hand one can experience 30-40% distress due to departed ancestral souls.Til Tarpan mean offering sesame and water to deities as well as to ancestors. Sesame is known to negate negative energy and is a symbol of sattvikta.

Further, On this very day, Deity Hayagriv, Deity Narayan as well as Deity Parshuram descended on Earth. To mark the occasion, puja’s and offerings to Goddess Vaibhav Lakshmi, Lord Vishnu and Lord Krishna are performed. 2-As per Lakshmi Tantrum, Kubera- the treasurer of Gods pray to goddess Lakshmi, the goddess of wealth and consort of Vishnu, on this day.
