SAHAJA YOG;-

Kundalini is the foundation of Sahaja Yoga Meditation. In the past, the awakening of this inner spiritual energy was achieved by only a few individuals, through arduous efforts of purification, asceticism, and prolonged meditation. This is a spontaneous method to awaken this energy, which requires no previous knowledge or spiritual practice. This spontaneous awakening can then be passed on to others, without the necessity of paying money, acquiring a diploma, or becoming a disciple. "Like a diya that is lit can light another diya."But that diya should be full of ghee & bati... THE KEY POINTS (05);--

WHAT IS SELF REALIZATION?--

04 FACTS;- 1-Self-realization is the name given to this awakening. The subtle energy known in Sanskrit as Kundalini resides at the base of the spinal cord. When awakened, this benevolent, nurturing energy passes upward through the nerve plexuses in the body and comes out of the top of the head at the fontanelle bone area.

2-One can feel this energy as a cool breeze above the head, as well as in the palms of the hands. This energy, sustained through the practice of Sahaja Yoga meditation, has a curative and balancing effect on our system.

3-It also facilitates a restorative state known as thoughtless awareness , in which the mind is in repose yet perfectly aware. What makes Sahaja Yoga meditation different from other techniques is that this state of thoughtless awareness happens spontaneously and without effort. Because of its simplicity and accessibility, thousands of people can receive their self-realization ... 4-The experience of self-realization through Sahaja Yoga offers significant benefits to those who dedicate even a small amount of time to daily meditation. It reduces stress and fatigue, restores emotional balance, and gives one a sense of peace and satisfaction, even in the most turbulent of circumstances. BASICS OF SAHAJA YOGA;--

06 FACTS;- 1-Sahaja yoga is "spontaneous union with one's self'... Understand the subtle system. The subtle system is made up of nadis and chakras. Nadis, or channels, carry energy throughout the body while chakras, or “wheels,” are the centers of energy located in the body. There are three primary vertical channels of energy and seven major chakras. This system can only be activated with a Kundalini awakening. The Kundalini awakening simultaneously cleans and balances the system and enlightens and purifies the chakras. 2-Each chakra has spiritual abilities. The chakras always exist in the body and can never be destroyed but they do not manifest themselves until the Kundalini is awakened. When the Kundalini rises and nourishes the chakras, our bodies automatically become dynamic, creative, confident, and very humble. 3-Know the spiritual abilities of the chakras. Chakras are called wheels because this is where the energy spins with frequency, similar to a galaxy of planets spinning on their axis. Chakras are located along the spinal cord region and supervise and maintain the perfect operation of the bodily system. What attracts and disturbs the chakras influences their sensitivity and performance. Self-realization will enlighten the central nervous system, allowing you to feel each of the seven chakras. 4-a-The mooladhara, or first chakra, will help you rediscover your innocence, and innate and intuitive wisdom. b-The second chakra, or swadisthana, your creative instincts will be stimulated. c-At the nabhi, third chakra, the realization of your accomplishments will be satisfied d-Your heart will be opened along with compassion for family and friends during the fourth chakra, or anahat. e-Good communication, a sense of perspective, and a balanced approach to stressful situations will be summoned during vishuddhi, or the fifth chakra. f-At the sixth chakra, or agnya, your forgiveness will allow you to move forward with life without grudges or hatred. You will be able to identify with your freedom and power of your inner self. g-Finally, the last chakra, sahasrara, will allow you to have a transformative connection that enables you to understand a deeper and truer meaning and purpose to your life. 5-How to know NADIS;---- a- There are three main nadis: the central channel (Sushumna Nadi) also known as the “middle path” because it resides and is located along the spine to the highest chakra; the left channel (Ida Nadi), also called the “moon channel,” is located along the left side of the body providing the conduit for the energy of our desire; the right channel (Pingala Nadi), or “sun channel,” runs along the right side of the body and is responsible for active energy, and our mental and physical activities. b-The central channel coordinates the nervous system activities. It is not until the awakening of the Kundalini and its travel through the central channel and out through the top of the head that recognition occurs of the vastness of the subtle system. c-The left channel is responsible for your state of joy, which is often blocked, covered, or tarnished because of the emotional and physical injuries experienced during your lifetime. The practice of Sahaja yoga is instrumental in removing these tensions and recovering the joy we experienced as small children growing up. d-The right channel is easily blinded by ego and the need for more power and energy. When this happens, the left channel becomes weak and you take actions that dominate or disrupt the lives of others. Sahaja yoga will remove this negativity and restore balance between the channels and the chakras. 6- How to check;-- a-Yoga texts such as the Shiva Svarodaya have observed that the flow of air through the two nostrils is rarely equal. If you check your own breathing right now, you will probably find that one nostril is more open than the other. In yoga the nostril with the greater air flow is called the “active” or dominant nostril; the other nostril is termed “passive.” b-ou can gain a better appreciation of this by breathing out onto a mirror held horizontally just under the nose. The exhaled air from each nostril will form a moisture pattern on the mirror’s surface, and the difference in size between the two sides of the pattern makes the discrepancy in nostril dominance visible. Moreover, comparing the evaporation times on each side of the pattern will provide an approximate ratio of nostril activity. For example, if the moisture pattern on the left side evaporates in 30 seconds while the pattern on the right lasts just 15 seconds, then your left nostril is about twice as active as the right. c-According to ancient yoga manuals, differences in nostril activity are quite normal—nostril dominance, in fact, alternates approximately every 60 minutes. This is the ideal, but most of us find that one nostril may remain active for much longer periods of time, or that regular alternation in nostril dominance rarely occurs. Such irregularities can have subtle effects on our mood and activity levels.sushumna,” and when it is accomplished, the attention moves inward along a central channel leading from the base of the nose to the center between the eyebrows, and concentration improves. d-The domain of these two primary modes of human energy extends into the world of activities. sushumna, the channel of energy flowing in the core of the spine and extending from the base of the spine to the eyebrow center (with an extension to the base of the nostrils), is said to be unaffected by the powerful energies swirling around it. e-Sushumna is the center of the wheel of life. During meditation the mind rests from its outer activity and is naturally drawn toward this central channel of energy, and when it is, both nostrils may begin to flow equally, becoming balanced. And when the attention is well-anchored on that balanced flow of energy, an experience of deep joy illuminates the mind. f-Middle channel can be balanced only with the help of KUMBHAK(HOLD ) To begin , let the sound of the breath flow with each exhalation and inhalation by mentally repeating the mantra so’ham. Inhale “so,” and exhale “ham” (pronounce “hum”--soham is naturally repeated sound but we are not aware). Simply hear the sound in your mind, as you feel the breath flowing along this central stream. Afterwards we should repeat chakra beej mantra... HOW CAN WE REAP THE BENEFIT OF SAHAJA YOGA?----
