WHAT ARE THE GENERAL TIPS OF VASTU FOR GARDEN ? GARDENVASTU-02

Vastu concepts regarding the plants and their plantation must be kept in mind so as to make our home not just superficially beautiful, but also Vastu-oriented.Smaller shrubs may be planted on the East or North sides, but no trees should be planted in the North-East corner as they block the useful morning sun rays. GENERAL TIPS OF VASTU FOR GARDEN;-

04 FACTS;- 1-As a general rule, gardens in homes or factories should always be in the North or West and within the confines of the compound. 2- The South-East and South-West are not to be selected for any kind of garden or plantation. 3-In this day and age of flats and multi-storeyed structures, Ashok, Kanakchampa, and Coconut planted within the campus in the North and West is favourable. 4-Gardens in the South-East and South-West cause tensions. In particular, large or tall plants should never be planted towards the East or North Here are a few simple vastu suggestions for planting various varieties of foliage for gardens within the house limits:- FOUNTAIN &POOL;--

07 FACTS;- 1-If a garden is present in the centre of the house limit, it must not have any fountain in the centre. 2-A swimming pool in the centre, towards the South, South-East or South-West and even the North-West creates undue events. It brings negativity in the health of the residents. A swimming pool is favourable in the East, North or even in the West. 3-The fountains or water ponds within a house limit should not be built in the centre and should follow the same principles as the placement of swimming pools. Placed wrongly they cause problems with respect to mental peace and health. 4-Fountains or ponds are very favourable towards the North-East. This is also applicable to artificial springs. 5-Huge, heavy statues or other exhibits are favourable towards the South- or the West. 6-A water pond in a favourable direction with Lotus is very favourable. 7-The entertaining unit for the children is recommended towards the North-West of the garden. VASTU TIPS FOR HOME GARDEN;- 37 FACTS;- 1-Coconut tree brings good luck. So, it is good to plant it in the garden.Tall trees like Coconut and lemon can be planted in the South-West, West sides but should not be too close to a building as they block the sunlight completely. A tree should be planted such that it's shadow should not fall on the house, at least between 9.A.M to 3P.M. 2-Large trees like Peepal, Banyan should not be located too near the house as their roots can damage the foundation and compound wall. Also, the large trees absorb most of the sunlight, meaning these positive rays will not be received by the building. 3-Good trees that can be planted in a house compound are useful trees like coconut, neem, betel, sandalwood, lemon, pineapple, bilva, almond, jackfruit, pomegranate, mango, amla, and katha. 4-Do not cut trees in the month of Bhadrapad or Magh. 5-Trees in the North, East and North East directions of the house should not be taller than the height of the house. 6-Champak, Mogra and Parijat should not be planted in southwest, northwest or east directions. 7-Flower pots should not be kept on the east, north or northeast wall of the building. 8-The trees which bear fruits should be planted in the east direction of the garden. 9-Tall trees should be planted in the southwest direction. It will give stability and progress. 10-A dead or leafless tree in front of the house is not considered good. It should be uprooted. 11-If a tree on the opposite side of the road has only two branches, it is not good. 12-Trees should be planted in even numbers. 13-Mango, lemon, banana and papaya trees should not be planted in the east or north direction. 14-If the shadow of a tree falls on the house in the first or last quarter of the day it will prove beneficial to those living in that house. However, if the shadow of a tree falls on the house continuously for 8 to 12 hours it will be troublesome for the inmates of the house. 15-A tree in the middle of the main door/gate of the house is not auspicious. 16-Bonsai plants should not be kept inside the house. They can harm the owner and his children.Planting of dwarf plants in the garden brings quarrel in the house. 17-As far as possible cotton, tamarind, Imli and gum plants should not be planted in the house. 18-Bargad and Peepal like trees which extract milk are also nor considered good. They cause pain those living in the house. Peepal Tree should not be damaged or cut. However if due to unavoidable circumstances it is required to cut, do it only after prayers and offering of rice and curd. 19-Thorny plants like Cactus etc. should be avoided because they provide negative energy. They can cause prolems related to lungs and kidneys. 20-Chandan brings prosperity, happiness and longlife. 21-Avoid flowering trees in gardensReason – They shed leaves during the summer. 22-A Basil plant is a very positive influence within the limits of a house.It should be planted in north-east directions. 23-Bilva, is very favourable on the West of the house limit. Udumbara (Goolar) and Panas are favourable towards the South of the house limits. 24-Kanakchampa, in the North brings virtues and wealth. 25-The Ber plant should not be cultivated within the house limits. It increases enmity. 26-Climbers within the house limits should be grown vertically, climbing or horizontally trailing. Indoor climbers should also follow this condition. 27-No large plant should be planted exactly in the centre of a site. 28-Money Plant in the house brings wealth and good luck.But should be planted in southeast,north,north- north east direction. 29-There must not be any Palash, Kanchana, Sleshmataka, Arjun and Karanj plants within the house limits. If they are already present, then balance them by planting Ashok, Nirgundi and Sudarshan plants in the appropriate directions. 30-BAMBOO TREE The plant is associated with Lord Krishna. Worshiping it ensures kindness of Krishna. Lucky Bamboo attracts health, prosperity and good fortune, especially for business owners. Why you should NOT PLANT BAMBOO in your yard?-- However, these days dwarf, potted bamboo is an easily available option but it is criticized by some Vastu experts as they feel it goes against nature.Plants of Bamboo should never be grown within the house limits.Bamboo may seem like an attractive garden option, but it poses serious problems. So avoid growing bamboo altogether.

31-CREEPERS;-

31-1-Creepers or other plants should not be grown using the building or compound wall as a support as their clingers will slowly creep into tiny cracks in the walls and gradually widen them as they grow, causing damage and seeepage of water through the walls.

31-2-Creepers should only be grown in a garden, and they should have their own independent supports. A creeper like a money plant can be grown within the house but should not be grown outside, using a tree for support.

32-Peepal and Banyan tree are sacred and they must be placed in the temple and not at home.

33-The trees should not be planted in front of the entrance of house.Small trees can be planted in the East and North side. But no tree should be planted in North-east corner.

34- Jasmine, Rose, Marigold, Champak, Mogra and Prijat are good around the house as it gives positive energy.

35-No big tree should be planted in the centre of the house.A rock garden should be in southwest portion of the house, not in the northeast portion of the house.

36-Trees with insects worms, honey bees, bumble bee, owls, serpents, should be avoided for obvious reasons. If a tree must be removed because it is inauspicious or for other reasons, the day before cutting the tree, one should express regret to the tree, and it must be removed from its rooting. A new tree should be planted in its place within the next three months. This is a way of conserving nature.
