1-The pomegranate garden is a symbol of heaven in the mystical traditions. Pomegranate has antioxidant and antiviral properties and might play a role in some cancer treatments. It was seen as an appeal to the gods and is one of nine plants traditionally offered to Ma Durga, the 10-armed goddess of retribution and justice.

2-Buddhism considers the pomegranate to be one of the three blessed fruits. Others are the citrus and the peach. In some Hindu traditions, the pomegranate symbolizes prosperity and fertility, and is associated with both Bhoomidevi (the earth goddess) and Lord Ganesha (the one fond of the many-seeded fruit).

05 FACTS;-- 1-The mango tree is another sacred tree of the Hindus. The significance of this finds mention in the Ramayana, Mahabharata and the Puranas. The mango as a fruit is a symbol of love and fertility. 2-The leaf of the tree is used during most religious and social ceremonies of the Hindus. On various auspicious occasions, mango leaves are used to adorn entrances at home to signify good fortune. 3-Mango Tree is a very sacred Tree and its fruit and leaves are used in many religious purposes like Yagya (Yagya is an important ceremony to calm down the negative effects planets and obtain their beneficial results). 4- According to Vasthu Sastra, mango leaves are helpful in removing Evil’s Eye and brings harmony in one’s house. Take 11 mango leaves, string together and hang over entrance of your house. 5-According to Feng shui, Planting a Mango tree in your house or property, helps in inviting the God of Wisdom, Peace and Luck.

13-RED SANDALWOOD TREE(OUTDOOR);-- Besides being used in fragrance industry, fine woodworking and aromatherapy, Sandalwood is commonly used for incense and religious ceremonies. The Red Sandalwood Tree is considered to be a very sacred tree and is like a sage among many people. 07 FACTS;-- 1-A money plant is said to produce a positive energy flow that attracts good luck and fortune.In China, the money plant is traditionally given as a New Year gift. 2-But there's a catch: The plant's shoot must always point upward for it to bring you wealth. Also, according to popular belief, owners get richer if the plant is propagated using stolen branches (cuttings). On the downside, the person from whom the clippings are stolen, supposedly stands to lose wealth. 3-Money Plant is beautiful green leafy indoor plant, many people call it as “A Plant to become Rich”, as its leaves stay greener more than other plant’s leaves And as the plant has different shapes of leaves, it denotes differently in many terms. 4- According to Vasthu Sastra, if one plants a Money Plant in the house brings Luck and Riches in one’s life as its round and flat shaped leaves resembles a coin. 5- Money Plant is also believed to bring long-lasting friendship, due its heart shaped leaves. 6- According to Feng shui, Money Plant (also called as Feng Shui Money Tree is used to enhance the energy of wealth and prosperity in the Wealth and Money Bagua area(Southeast) of your home. 7- According a myth, its said that one should not cutting of his or her planted Money Plant to anyone as its believed that one is giving his or her wealth to other person.Money plant should be placed in either the north or the east direction. It is considered very lucky and there is a belief that money plant leads to a rise in the wealth as well as income. 15-BILVA PLANT;--

04 FACTS;-- 1-According to the Skanda Purana, the Bel tree grew from the sweat droplets of Goddess Parvati which fell on the Mandrachal mountain. From then on the Bel tree emerged. Hence, it is believed that the Goddess resides in this tree in all Her forms. She resides as Girija in the roots of the tree, as Maheshwari in its trunk, as Dakshayani in its branches, Parvati in its leaves, Katyayani in its fruit and as Gauri in its flowers. Apart from these Shaktis, Goddess Lakshmi also resides in this sacred tree. 2-Therefore as Goddess Parvati resides in Her various forms in this tree, Lord Shiva is extremely fond of its leaves. It is said that even if one touches the Bel tree or its leaves, he/she is freed from all sorts of sins and ailments. 3-Scientific Properties Of Belpatra 3-1-Bael tree is considered to be sacred, too, because its alliance with Lord Shiva, who is pleased by Bael leaf offerings. The trifoliate leaf or tripatra of the bael tree is believed to symbolize the three functions of the Almighty - the creation, preservation and destruction. 3-2-According to the scriptures and Ayurveda, Belpatra has great medicinal values. It's trifoliate shape signifies the three components or 'gunas' namely the Sattva, Rajas and Tamas. The Sattva guna is the positive energies while the Tamas is the negative forces. It is believed that the centre part of the Bilva leaf has the natural characteristic to attract the Sattva or the positive energies towards itself. 3-3-So, when a person affected by negative energies touches the Belpatra, the positive energies are transferred to him/her. This explains why touching the Bilva tree makes you get rid of sins and ailments. 4-Belpatra is extremely beneficial for health. The roots, skin, leaves, fruit, everything of the tree is used to cure various ailments. The sacred tree can cure problems like bleeding gums, dysentry, asthma, jaundice, anaemia etc. Hence, Belpatra is extremely important in Hinduism. 16- AMLA Or Indian Gooseberry;-

06 FACTS;-- 1-Amla has been regarded as the sacred tree in India. It sin worshiped as the Mother Earth and is believed to nurture humankind because the fruits are very nourishing. 2- It stimulates spiritual purity. Kartik Mahatma and Vrat Kaumudi order the worship of this tree. Its fruits and flowers are used in worship. 3-Being a multi purpose food, Amla has a large number of benefits with its antioxidant, skin enhancing, hair enriching and many more abilities for everyone.The tree of Amla is worshipped in the month of Kartik. 4-On the full moon day of that month, food is eaten in the shade of the Amla tree , after the worship. Khichadi ( made of Rice and Urad lentils) is taken in the shade of the tree, alongwith the Amla fruit. 5-The ladies worship this tree in that month, and light a lamp there in the evening, after sunset. That is why, every traditional vaishnava temple has a tree of Amla in the courtyard, alongwith that of Tulsi, in a position that people can circumambulate around the tree. 6-There is also an Ekadashi ( the eleventh day of each lunar fortnight) named after the Aamalaki Ekadashi. The fruit is used on that day also. 17-SHWETARK GANPATI PLANT/ AAK , Madar (Calotropis Gigantea)

07 FACTS;-- 1-Following two types are explained of this plant :- 1-Shweta Arka 2-Shukla Arka 2-The name of this plant is synonymous with Sun for the herb is very strong and astringent in action much like the powerful rays of Sun. 3-Among Indian plants, Madar is an exceptional kind of a plant. It is highly poisonous. Its leaves are not even consumed by animals. Still, it is full of numerous mystical and medicinal characteristics. In Ayurveda it is described as a life-giving plant. 4-SHWETARK PLANT- Generally Madar plants, with purple coloured flowers, are available everywhere and this kind of plant is utilised for medicinal purposes. But Madar plant, bearing white flowers is extremely rare. It is called white Madar (Shwetark). 5- A person, who finds this type of Madar, becomes the focus of adoration of Lord Shiva and Ganesh. Numerous great scriptures and mythological stories speak about buried treasures definitely lying there or nearby, where the white Madar plant grows. Poverty departs from the house where its roots survive. Thus this plant ushers in affluence. It is the protector and makes Immortals have mercy upon humankind. 6-Therefore, the first task one should perform is to discover roots of a white Madar plant. Lord Ganesh lives in its root. Sometimes this root is available in the form of Lord Ganesh. Hence this root should be venerated with immense faith, assuming that it is the idol of Lord Ganesh. Vermilion should be smeared all over it. It needs to be wrapped in red cloth and set in the place where one worships other divinities. 7-Much has been written in its praise in umpteen (a lot of. great) books. In brief, poverty, interference in growth, squabbles (a noisy quarrel) , disorder, curse, malevolent effect of evil spirits or sorcery are obliterated( destroy utterly)in the house where the Shwetaark Ganpati subsists (remain in force) . 18-SHAMI TREE;-

03 FACTS;-- 1-Shami is a Sanskrit word which means : one who removes or cleans, or suppresses. It is believed that the worship of Shami removes, cleans, or suppresses all the sins of a person. 2-In ancient times, specially during the Epic age the Hindu warriors would offer prayers to this tree before proceeding to the battle field. The great Hindu Text Mahabharata has a legend that when Pandavas were exiled for 14 years, they had to spend one last year in disguise. It was during that period that they submitted all their arms to a Shami tree and received them back intact after the period of disguise was over i.e. after one year.They worshiped the tree and asked for power and victory in the ensuing battle that was fought in the battle field of Kurukshetra between Pandavas and Kauravas. 3-Shami Flower and leaves are sacred To Gods And Goddesses.1- Pandavas won the battle and hence it is believed that the Shami tree gives power and victory to those who pray to it. On Vijayadashami day people exchange Shami leaves and greet each other. This custom is popular in Uttar Pradesh Maharashtra and Karnataka states of India. 19-GUDHAL (hibiscus);- 03 FACTS;-- GUDHALis usually offered to Goddess Kali because it is the representation of Kali’s tongue. The colour red that an hibiscus posses is symbolic to the fierceness within her. Hibiscus is also offered to Lord Ganesha. The Ganesh principle is believed to be present in the petals of a Hibiscus flower. This principle denotes that its petals has the ability to emit divine consciousness. Overall, the red hibiscus is supposed to bring wealth into your life and destroy your enemies. 20-PARIJAT - The Flower Of Gods;-

03 FACTS;--- 1-It is of divine origin and yet with the first ray of the sun it drops from the branches. Even then it holds the distinction of being the only one that can be picked from the earth and offered to Gods. Probably that is why apart from the romance, it is of great medicinal value. 2-Considered to be a divine tree, Parijat is not without its share of tales of its romantic origin. Close to the heart of the lovers that of a princess “Parijataka”, who was in love with the sun. She tried a lot to win the heart of Sun, but when he rejected her she committed suicide and a tree sprung from her ashes. Unable to stand the sight of the lover, the tree flowers only at night and sheds them like tear drops before the sun rises. That is how they are, even today! 3-“Parijat” is also known as ‘Harsinghar’ in Hindi and ‘Shefali’ in Bengali. It bears the botanical name of Nycatanthes Arbortristis. Nyctanthes which means ‘night flowering’ and Arbortristis means ‘The sad tree’ or ‘The tree of sorrow’ as in the early morning when it has dropped its flowers, the tree appears to look sad.
