WHAT IS MUDRA?-
07 FACTS;-
1-The word mudra literally means “a seal.” It is a certain position of the hand. Mudras are a subtle science of arranging your body in a certain way. The way your systems functions can be altered just by changing the positions of your palm.
2-This is a whole science by itself which essentially involves the geometry and circuitry of the body. By holding a certain mudra, the energies tend to move in a particular way.
3-In yoga, there are systems where you can regulate your breath in a certain way, with certain counts and proportions. By doing this, you can pinpoint your energy to any cell in the body if you want.
4-Hands are also capable of many things apart from eating and doing physical work. You can make these hands in such a way that if you move it here, you can make something happen somewhere else and pinpoint it wherever you want it, because these hands are the instrument to everything.
5-This is like the control panel to everything. If you do the right things with this system, you can do miraculous things with life. That will take a lot of exploration, and a lot of sadhana is involved.
6-There are hundreds of mudras, some for health, some for wellbeing, some for creating certain other kinds of processes. For different aspects of life there are different mudras.
7-In Indian culture, for everything they identified a particular asana, a mudra, and a particular kind of breathing, so that a human being brings out the best within himself.

THE EYEBROW CENTRE GAZING-SHAMBHAVI MUDRA;--
09 FACTS;-
1-Shambhavi is the name of the wife or consort of Shambhu (Shiva). She has many other names, such as Parvati, Shakti, etc., all of which have special significance in Indian mythology. It is believed that Shambhu taught Shambhavi the practice of shambhavi mudra and urged her to practise it diligently if she wanted higher awareness.
2-It is said that the practice of shambhavi mudra will stir Shambhu (superconsciousness) and make him appear before you.Among other things it says: “The man who diligently practises and knows shambhavi mudra becomes Lord Shiva himself. He becomes Narayana (Vishnu), the sustainer of all and also Brahma, the creator of the universe.”
3-The practice is also known as bhrumadhya drishti. The word bhrumadhya means ‘eyebrow centre’, and drishti means ‘gazing’. This name describes the practice exactly ,eyebrow centre gazing.
4-This means many things, most of which are understandable only when one knows the significance of the Hindu gods. But we can say that one of the meanings is that one can transcend the fetters of the individual ego through practising shambhavi mudra for a sufficiently long period of time. Through this one is able to expand awareness and see a significance and essence behind everything. Furthermore, one realizes that one’s real nature is far more than we can normally conceive.
5-Shambhavi mudra, also call Bhairavi mudra, is a subtle internal technique involving the eyes which can lead one to the depths of yogic meditation.
6-Eyes position while doing Shambhavi Mudra –The Upanishad says three positions – closed eyes, half opened eyes and fully opened eyes. But half opened eyes look more suitable in the beginning. Closed eyes and fully opened eyes are good when this technique gets its perfection.
7-It says closed eyes represent feminine energy and fully opened eyes represent male energy..And with half opened eyes both energy get balanced.
8-Shambhavi Mudra synchronizes the 2 brain lobes to create inner balance. When the left and right sides of the brain , are in balance the human DNA generates scalar waves. When two energy fields exactly cancel out each other the 5th dimension is accessed which is all pervasive and has the power to heal.
9-He is now in touch with higher levels or higher dimensions of functioning. He will have emotional stability and level headed approach to problems which confront him. This is a fast, amazingly simple, drug-free method of stimulating neural pathways in the brain.

"Sham" defines Shanti, peace and implies the balance of "pratia" and "apana", the energies of Sun and Moon, time and space and of Shiva and Shakti.

WHERE TO CONCENTRATE ?-
12 FACTS;- 1-Concentrate gently either on the lotus of the heart (Anahata Chakra) or on the space between the two eyebrows (Ajna Chakra or Trikuti), or on the tip of the nose. Close your eyes. 2-The seat of the mind is Ajna Chakra. The mind can be controlled easily if you concentrate on the Trikuti. 3-Bhaktas should concentrate on the heart. Yogis and Vedantins should concentrate on Ajna Chakra. 4-Crown of the head (Sahasrara) is another seat for concentration. Some Vedantins concentrate here. Some Yogis concentrate on the tip of the nose as given above. 5-Stick to one centre of concentration. Cling to it tenaciously. If you concentrate on the heart stick to it. Never change it. Guide/Guru can select a centre for concentration, if you are a student of faith. If you are a man of self-reliance, you can select a centre for yourself. 6-Bhrumadhya-Drishti is fixing one's eyes between the eyebrows. This region is Ajna Chakra. Sit in Padmasana or Siddhasana in your meditation room and practise this gaze gently from half a minute to half an hour. There must not be the least violence in this practice. Gradually increase the period. 7-This Yogic Kriya removes the tossing (Vikshepa )of mind and develops concentration. Lord Krishna prescribes this practice in chapter V, Sloka 27: "Having the outward contacts excluded and with gaze fixed between the eyebrows." This is known as 'frontal gaze' also, because the eyes are directed towards the frontal bone or the bone of the forehead. You can select yourself either this gaze or the 'Nasal Gaze.'
8-Agochari Mudra The gaze is fixed at the tip of the nose. Even when you walk in the street, keep the nasal gaze. Lord Krishna prescribes this in chapter VI, Sloka 13: "Looking fixedly at the point of the nose without looking around." This practice steadies the mind and develops the power of concentration.
9-A Raja Yogi concentrates on the Trikuti (Ajna Chakra, the space between the two eyebrows) which is the seat of the mind in the waking state. You can easily control the mind if you can concentrate on this region. Light is
seen during concentration in this region very quickly even in a day's practice, by some persons. He who wants to meditate on Virat and he who wants to help the world should select this region for his concentration.
10-A Bhakta or a devotee should concentrate on the heart, the seat of emotion and feeling. He who concentrates on the heart gets great Ananda. He who wants to get Ananda should concentrate on the heart.
A Hatha Yogi fixes his mind on the Sushumna Nadi, the middle path in the spinal canal, and on a specific centre, viz., the Muladhara or Manipura or Ajna Chakra.
11-Some Yogis ignore the lower Chakras and fix their mind on the Ajna Chakra only. Their theory is that by controlling the Ajna Chakra all the lower Chakras can be automatically controlled. When you concentrate on a Chakra, a thread-like connection is formed in the beginning between the mind and the Chakra (centre of spiritual energy). Then the Yogi ascends along the Sushumna from Chakra to Chakra. The ascent is made gradually by patient efforts.
12-WHAT IS"UNMAN AVASTHA."?-
A-Even a mere shaking of the opening of the Sushumna causes a great deal of Ananda (bliss). You become intoxicated. You will entirely forget the world. When the opening of the Sushumna is shaken a bit, the Kula Kunadalini Shakti tries to enter Sushumna. Great Vairagya comes in. You will become fearless. You will behold various visions. You will witness the splendid Antarjyotis. This is termed "Unmani Avastha."
B--You will get different Siddhis, different types of Ananda and different kinds of knowledge by controlling and operating on different Chakras. If you have conquered the Muladhara Chakra, you have conquered the earthplane already. If you have conquered the Manipura Chakra, you have conquered fire. Fire will not burn you. Panchadharana (five kinds of Dharana) will help you to conquer the five elements.
NOTE ;--While practicing any kind of Kundalini Yoga technique, it is advisable to have pure life including pure vegetarian food & Follow instructions carefully otherwise it may possible that practitioner instead of getting any benefit may suffer irreparable damage/loss on psycho-physiological plane.. .....SHIVOHAM.....
