WHAT ARE THE TEN MAXIMS & ESSENCE OF KUNDALINI YOG? THE TEN MAXIMS (rule of conduct) OF SAHAJ KUNDALINI MEDITATION 1-Rise before dawn. Offer your prayer and puja at a fixed hour, preferably before sunrise, sitting in one and the same pose. Have a separate place and seat for worship. Purity of mind and body should be specially adhered (stick fast t) to 2-Begin your puja with a prayer for spiritual elevation, with a heart full of love and devotion. 3-Fix up your goal which should be 'complete oneness' with God. Rest not till the ideal is achieved. 4-Be plain and simple to be identical with nature. Be truthful. 5-Take miseries as Divine Blessings for your own good and be thankful. 6-Know all people as thy brethren and treat them as such. 7-Be not revengeful for the wrongs done by others. Take them with gratitude as heavenly gifts. 8-Be happy to eat in constant divine thoughts whatever you get, with due regard to honest and pious earnings. 9-Mould your life so as to arouse a feeling of love and piety in others. 10-At bedtime, feeling the presence of God, repent for the wrongs committed. Beg forgiveness in a supplicant( a person who asks a god )mood, resolving (find a solution) not to allow repetition of the same. THE KEY POINTS;-- 1- In the mundane world, and in the mundane search for success, there is a right way of doing and achieving. In the spiritual path, there is only the effective way! The true importance of following the Ten Maxims of the Sahaj Marg system can hardly be overemphasised. 2- The higher one goes, the greater the need for alertness. This is made possible by the practice of constant remembrance. Sahaj Marg can thus be seen to be a complete system and its effectiveness is proved in its ability to take a sadhak up to the final stage of divinisation. 3-The word 'middle' implies that one is situated between two opposites. The middle of the road is between the two kerbs. The middle of the river is similarly between the two banks, and so on. One did not abandon the concepts of right and wrong, for instance, or of white and black, but one rose above them. Where are the opposites now? We are so deeply bound by these concepts that to understand that they can be transcended without breaking any rules or codes is often impossible - at least for a beginner! 4-The Ten Maxims of Sahaj Marg are of very great importance in the spiritual life of an aspirant, precisely because they help the sadhak to attain this inner balance by adopting natural aids available in nature herself. THE ESSENCE OF SAHAJ KUNDALINI YOG;-- 07 FACTS;-- 1-This is the important principle followed in Sahaj Marg--PERFECT BALANCE. The idea of perfect balance makes it necessary for the spiritual aspirant to go beyond, to transcend, the ideas of the opposites which so plague (cause continual trouble) one's existence. ACCORDING TO KABIRDAS JI;-- That is, too much speaking and too much of silence, both are bad. The same way as too much of rain, and too much of sunshine, are both not good. Avoid extremes in all spheres of life (अति का भला न बोलना, अति की भली न चूप, अति का भला न बरसना, अति की भली न धूप।) 2-Right and wrong are here, in the life terrestrial, in the life mundane(of this earthly world), in the life of the animal human being who has to be, perhaps, compelled to understand the need for ethics and morality, and then to lead a life governed by these principles. 3-In the spiritual life, these values are very definitely necessary, too, but as one proceeds 'on and on' then there comes into being the intuition that what is necessary for a merely human existence has to be transcended in the higher life of the spiritual seeker. 4-Now ideas of right and wrong give way to the superior intuition of effectiveness. What is effective in taking one up to the evolutionary goal is right. 5-Now one's inner and outer condition are in perfect balance. There is no more the struggle to create a balance, either of attitudes or of actions. One just is in a state of perfect balance, and it is so natural that others can hardly perceive it, except as very superficial patterns of what may be called balanced behaviour. 6-Such a person remains unperturbed by anything, be it sorrow or joy, profit or loss, health or sickness. This being so, when such a One passes away, in the worldly sense of renouncing one's body, he enters into the state called Mahasamadhi. 7-In this state he can neither be said to be alive, nor can he be said to be dead. He has transcended both life and death, and this alone can be truly said to be the state of immortality. He has gone inwards to such an extent that he has passed into a dimensionless state, where he neither is nor is not! That is the definition, a spiritual definition, of God Himself THE REMARKABLE FACTS OF SAHAJ KUNDALINI YOG; 07 FACTS;-- 1-Yet another unique aspect of Sahaj Marg is that it does not recommend any one to renounce the family life, as advocated by many schools of Indian philosophy where the life of the renunciate or mendicant (a beggar) is a must for spiritual pursuit, as is the case in Hinduism, Buddhism, and Jainism. 2-On the other hand, Sahaj Marg says that one should neglect neither the worldly life nor the spiritual life. In fact it says that ‘the material life and the spiritual life should go hand in hand, like two wings of a bird, equally glittering.’ 3-The Pranahuti, the unique flow of transmission from the Master to the millions of aspirants, plays an important role in the evolution of man into a perfect human being. It checks the mental tendency from going astray and helps one to regulate his mind, and thereby his senses and activities, thus bringing him into a state of perfect balance and moderation. This is one of the definitions of the term Yoga, given by the lord in the Bhagavad-Gita . 4-Sahaj Marg does not condemn any religion but goes beyond the religious precepts and unites all the people. It is said that ‘religion divides people but spirituality unites people’. 5-Another notable point in Sahaj Marg is that it offers the same practice to all the people without any reservation. It may also be noted that the women get the same equal status as men in this system, unlike the ancient spiritual systems. 6-All the Masters lead a simple life, true to the term Sahaj Marg, which literally means ‘The natural path’. There are no religious dogmas, rigorous rituals, preaching of sermons and so on in this method. It is simple, subtle and any one who has the willingness to transform himself into a perfect human being can experience its efficacy. 7-THE KEY POINTS;--
HINDUISM ADORES TRINITY;WHO ALWAYS MEDITATE ON AUM; BUT THEY ARE NOT ASCETIC ONLY ;THEY ARE WITH THEIR SHAKTIS....INCLUDING ADIYOGI MAHADEV ; ALTHOUGH MAYA GETS A LITTLE POSITION ONLY; LIKE CRESCENT MOON ON HIS MATTED HAIR.TRINITY CARE FOR EQUILIBRIUM ONLY.PARAM PURUSH IS TRUTH BUT MAYA IS HALF TRUTH.IN THE SAME WAY SOUL IS TRUTH & BODY IS HALF TRUTH..WE CAN'T REJECT MAYA
.7-1-HINDUISM FOCUS ON FOUR PURUSHARTHS.ACCORDING TO Bhagavad-Gita ; ALL PURUSHARTHS I.E.DHARMA,ARTH,KAMA, MOKSHA CAN BE OBTAINED ONLY IN GRIHASTHA Ashram .
7-2-THERE IS A CHAIN OF ;--THE CELIBATE STUDENT > HOUSEHOLDER >DETATCHED HOUSEHOLDER >SANNYASA(THE RECLUSE).THEN WHY SHOULD WE BREAK THE CHAIN?WHEN SAHAJ YOG PROVIDES OPPORTUNITY TO EVOLVE (develop gradually);STEP BY STEP IN A SPONTANEOUS MANNER .NEITHER KILL MANA NOR ALLOW TO CREATE NUISANCE.
