KUNDALINI --THE DIVINE ENERGY;-

12 FACTS;-- 1-Kundalini means "coiled" in Sanskrit. The idea behind the name is that a huge reservoir of energy is coiled around the tip of the tailbone in a latent condition, waiting to be launched on an upward trajectory toward the head by yoga, grace, or accident. 2-KUNDALINI , the serpent power or mystic fire is that primordial energy or Shakti that lies dormant in the basal Muladhara Chakra . It is an electric occult or kinetic power (the kinetic energy of an object is the energy that it possesses due to its motion.,) the great pristine force which underlies all organic and inorganic matter . 3-Chakras are centers of spiritual energy situated in the Causal body( Linga Sarira) , astral body . They have corresponding centers in the physical body (Sthula Sarira) , also , just as Buddhi , understanding , intelligence , etc , which are really in the Linga Sarira , have corresponding centers in the brain also . 4-Kundalini is awakened through Pranayama, Asanas and Mudras by Hatha Yogins, through concentration by Raja Yogins, through devotion and perfect self-surrender by Bhaktas or devotees; through analytical will, by the Jnanis; by Japa of Mantra and by the grace of the Guru. 5-Kundalini Yoga is that Yoga which treats of Kundalini Shakti, the seven Chakras or centres of spiritual energy, the arousing of the sleeping Kundalini Shakti and its union with Lord Shiva in Sahasrara Chakra at the crown of the head. The seven Chakras are pierced by the passing of Kundalini Shakti to the top of the head. 6-The seven Chakras are: Muladhara (at the anus), Svadhishthana (at the root of the organ of generation), Manipura (at the navel), Anahata (in the heart), Visuddha (in the neck), Ajna (in the space between the two eyebrows) and Sahasrara (at the crown of the head). 7-Nadis are the astral tubes that carry Pranic currents. They cannot be seen by naked eyes. They are not the ordinary nerves, arteries and veins. There are 72,000 Nadis. Among them three are important. They are Ida, Pingala and Sushumna. Sushumna is the most important one, because Kundalini passes through this Nadi only. The first step in Kundalini Yoga is the purification of Nadis. When Sushumna is pure then only Kundalini will pass through it. Purification of Nadis is done by the practice of Pranayama. 8-The Yogi opens the mouth of Sushumna Nadi through Pranayama, Bandhas and Mudras and awakens the sleeping Kundalini and takes Her to Sahasrara at the crown of the head through the lower six Chakras. Kundalini sleeps in the Muladhara in 3 ½ coils. The three coils represent the three Gunas and half coil represents the Vikritis. 9-If you are pure and free from all desires, Kundalini will awaken by itself and you will be benefited. If you awaken Kundalini by violent methods, forcibly, when your heart is impure, when desires lurk in your mind, you will come across temptations of various sorts, when you move from plane to plane, you will have a downfall. You will have no strength of will to resist these temptations. 10-That aspirant who has firm faith in Yogic Shastras, who is courageous, devotional, humble, generous, merciful, pure and dispassionate, can easily awaken Kundalini and attain success in Samadhi. He should also be equipped with right conduct and self-restraint; he should constantly engage himself in the service of his Guru and be free from lust, anger, Moha, greed and vanity. 11-As soon as Kundalini is awakened , it pierces the Muladhara Chakra . It should be taken up to the Sahasrara Chakra through various Chakras . 6-When the Kundalini is awakened , the Yogi sees mentally a huge mass of golden light , enveloping the body as if to consume it . One should not at all be afraid . 12--When Kundalini is taken to the Sahasrara, when She is united with Lord Shiva, perfect Samadhi (super-conscious blissful state) ensues. The Yogi drinks the nectar of immortality. The Yogi experiences different grades of Ananda and Siddhis at different Chakras . Supreme fearlessness , astral visions , mental visions , Vijnana visions , Siddhis and spiritual Ananda are the signs to denote the awakening of the Kundalini .

REALIZATION OF KUNDALINI;--- 16 FACTS;-- 1-When the kundalini awakens, it takes a path within us of clearing and healing all that needs to be shifted. Sometimes we can be in supreme bliss and other times when the kundalini is doing some clearing, we can feel big energy moving through us or a temporary heaviness or sadness. Celebrate – it’s working, either way. 2-It is a profound, powerful energy that we all have access to and once we awaken it, we have a beautiful creative life force like none other supporting us on this human realm. 3-According to yoga, there are seven main energy centers, called Chakras, which is situated along the autonomic nervous system. Modern science knows very little about this system. 4-Kundalini Yoga explains four nervous systems – the left and right sympathetic, the parasym¬pathetic and the central nervous system. During a baby\’s development, those energies believed to fall on the anterior fontanelle bone of the skull pierce it in the center, and then pass into the lower portion of the brainstem. After leaving a fine thread of Divine energy there, they settle way down in the sacrum – the bone at the base of the spine. 5-As a baby grows, the fontanelle bone begins to ossify so that, around the age of two, the flow of divine Love is cut off from him. This causes him to identify himself as being separate from God and he begins to use his instincts of Survival, Pro-Creation and Willpower to obtain what he needs and wants. 6-As long as the child continues to identify himself as being separate from God, his consciousness will dwell in these three lower centers of energy. This is the hurdle that will limit his search for God and leave him .When our Chakras are functioning properly, they are open and spinning, each at a specific frequency. This enables it to metabolize the various energetic needs of the corresponding parts of the body. 7-‘Kundalini’ in Sanskrit is ‘that which is coiled. This energy is considered to be coiled up three and a half times, with its mouth engulfing the base of the Sushumna nadi. Kundalini energy will awaken from the sacrum through spiritual practices and devotion to God. 8-Once this energy is awake, tremendous power is unleashed. It then winds its way up through a central passage called sushumna- centre of spinal cord- in an attempt to reach the higher Chakras. This results in an expansion of conscious¬ness that affects every element of our being. 9-The site of Muladhara chakra is at the base of spine in side the sacrum bone. In Greek, the word sacrum means ‘sacred\’. There is but one bone in our bodies that is holy – the sacrum. 10-The job of the Kundalini energy is to break up the three lower Chakras-Muladhara, Sadhishtana and Manipura. And, if it succeeds in rising up to reach the higher Chakras, it will produce various degrees of spiritual awareness and enlightenment. 11-If the Kundalini energy reaches the level of the fourth Chakra-Anahatha- the heart chakra, we will start to see Divine Light. If it reaches the fifth Chakra-Vishudhi chakra, the throat chakra, we find ourselves wanting to think and speak only of God. 12-The sixth Chakra-Agnya chakra is located between the eyebrows and is related to the pituitary gland. This is where the optic nerve crosses the motor nuclei fibers of the spinal nerves that serve the limbs and trunk of the body- 13-This crossing is the most restricted path through which this holy energy can pass – the narrow path that opens the way for our consciousness to ascend to the seventh chakra- Sahasrara Chakra which is related to the pineal gland, where the soul is supposed to be. 14-The human conditions that will prevent a person from accessing the seventh Chakra are Lust, Greed, Pride and Fear. But, if the Kundalini energy reaches it, we experience a vision of God and the sacred geometries with which the Universe was created. 15-The seventh Chakra is the place of union with God–seated at right hand that which Hindus call Samadhi Buddhists call nirvana, and Christians call the mystical union. When Kundalini awakens, a person may experience deeper empathy with others, and this empathy can almost become telepathic. 16-There is greater sensitivity, higher energy levels, sometimes psychic abilities or deep knowing, ageing can appear to slow down, creativity and charisma can increase, as can internal peace and knowing. There is a sense of being part of All that Is. The greater mysteries of life are no longer mysteries. NOTE;-The more a person has done the hard work before Kundalini Awakens, the smoother the process. If the person has had a spontaneous awakening with little work on themselves, they’re in for a hard road. Over time, Kundalini transforms on a physical, emotional, mental and spiritual level.
