MEANING OF LIFE ENERGY;-

04 FACTS;-

1-The concept of a life force is found in most of the ancient cultures of the world. In India, it is called prana; in China, chi; in Japan, ki; for Native Americans, the Great Spirit. For all these cultures and others as well, the idea of life force is or was central to their forms of medicine and healing.

2-Both Traditional Chinese Medicine and acupuncture are based on balancing and enhancing chi to bring the body into a state of health.

3-“When the breath wanders, the mind is unsteady, but when the breath is still, so is the mind still.” According toHatha Yoga Pradipika

4-Breathing is vital energy for body and mind.Breath is

life.We could survive for days without food or water. But without oxygen we would die within minutes. It is truly astonishing how little attention we pay to the importance of proper breathing in daily life.

ROLE OF YOGA;-

03 FACTS;-

1-The essence of all yoga exercises is the flow of life energy, called prana in Sanskrit. Prana is the subtle energy that vitalises both body and mind. Different types of pranayamas (breathing exercises) cause the prana to flow and thus revitalise the whole nervous system.

2-Yoga breathing exercises teach us how to control the breath – and with it the mind. The two are always interconnected, as the following example clearly shows: when you are scared or angry, your breathing is shallow, fast and irregular, but when you are relaxed or focused, your breathing slows down.

3-So by regulating our breathing, we increase our uptake of oxygen and vital energy (prana) and also boost our power of concentration. Concentration is in turn the prerequisite for meditation – the practice of which leads to deep inner peace.

WHAT IS CHI ENERGY?-

04 FACTS;-

1-Simply, chi (qi) is that which gives life. In terms of the body, chi is that which differentiates a corpse from a live human being.Chi is a Chinese word meaning aliveness, life force energy or life breath - also known as Ki, Qi or Prana.

2-Theories of traditional Chinese medicine assert that the body has natural patterns of qi associated with it that circulate in channels called meridians in English.

3-To use a Biblical reference, it is that which God breathed into the dust to produce Adam. Chi is also the basis of acupuncture.

4-A strong life force makes a human being totally alive, alert and present while a weak force results in sluggishness and fatigue. You can increase and develop your chi to overcome illness, become more vibrant and enhance mental capacity.

BUILDING CHI IN THE BODY;-

1-Energy can be increased in a human being. Consequently, the development of chi can make an ill person robust or a weak person vibrant. More chi can enhance mental capacity too.

2-The concept of chi also extends beyond the physical body, to the subtle energies that activate all human functions, including emotions and thought. Unbalanced chi causes your emotions to become agitated and distressed. Balanced chi causes your emotions to become smooth and more satisfying.

3-From the perspective of thought, when your mental chi becomes more refined it enhances your creativity at all levels--art, business, relationships, child rearing, etc.

4-Spiritual chi makes it more possible for us to personally enter into higher states of consciousness, which lie at the heart of religious experience.

CHI CIRCULATION;-

1-To maintain pain-free, optimal health, chi or energy should circulate throughout your entire body, without disruption, in a smooth, powerful fashion.

2-The classic Chinese medical phrase is ''teng jr bu tong''. If the circulation of your chi is blocked , you have pain and disease . Conversely, if your chi or life force energy in your acupuncture meridian lines if fully connected and circulating without blockages , you have neither pain nor disease.

3-Balancing out and connecting your chi so that it has no blockages will both get rid of the pain of disease and make you feel a whole lot better.

HOW TO CONNECT WITH CHI ENERGY FLOW : -

1-Rub your palms together very quickly for a few seconds to increase the energetic flow into your hands. You will feel the increased heat of energy there. Now, separate your hands slightly while in a prayer position and hold them there for a count of 3; gently pull them apart 2-3 inches and then immediately back together while leaving a space between to your palms.

2-As you repeat this exercise you will feel the energy build between your palms. Begin to widen the distance between your palms while continually moving them back and forth several times.

3-With practice you will begin to strengthen your energy and promote healing as you place your hands on any area of your body. This is what a Reiki practitioner does when doing energy work.

WAYS OF INCREASING YOUR CHI ENERGY FLOW :-

16 FACTS;-

1-On both the front and the back of your wrists there are many meridians, also known as acupuncture points, where you can see the skin lines. Place your wrists in a crisscross position with both anterior (front) wrists facing each other about one inch apart and hold that position for several seconds.

2-Then do the same with both posterior (back) wrists facing each other about one inch apart in a crisscross position or several seconds. With practice, you will begin to feel your energy. Practice doing this several times a day.

3-This exercise connects the full circuit of your chi energy and clears away blockage along the main meridians throughout your body. It also increases the chi flow by balancing the yin and yang energy within.

4-To complete your energetic circuit, place the tip of your tongue on the roof of your mouth in the dip behind the center of your teeth. Hold it there for several seconds – minutes if possible – as this fully completes the chi energy circuit flow from your brain to your toes and everything else in-between throughout your body.

5-Deep diaphragmatic breathing:- Most people breathe backwards by breathing in through the nose while pulling in the stomach, and exhaling through the mouth while extending the belly. This is backwards! To correctly breathe, take a deep breath in through your nose while simultaneously extending or pushing out your abdomen.

5-1-This enables the diaphragm to drop down and expand the lower lobes of your lungs which will clear, cleanse and circulate any stagnate energy there. You then want to exhale by pulling in your tummy which will raise the diaphragm up by compressing on the lower lungs to move the stale stagnate energy up and out of your mouth.

6-Chi energy must flow freely, when it flows too fast it is dispersed and the result is lack of chi, when it flows to slowly, the result is stagnation. Both, lack or stagnation of chi are the origin of illness.

7-To understand how chi energy flows, the best example to watch in nature is how water flows, how it creates its path, what makes it stagnate or flow too fast.

Water always chooses the easiest way to flow. When water meets a small rock, it will flow around it, when it meets a huge rock on its course it will stagnate, if the path is a straight line it will flow too fast.

8-Now what makes the chi energy flow stagnate in our body? First and most important:--

Our Thoughts & Mood;-

What are your thoughts about your body?

Do you appreciate it, do you allow it into well being?

Do you allow constant healing to your body?

Do you trust your body?

Do you have negative beliefs concerning your body?

Do you consider your body as a friend or enemy?

What is your mood generally?---

Heavy or light? Pessimistic or optimistic? Happy or

depressed?Are you stressed or overwhelmed?

9-Muscular tensions and bad postures are direct result of negative thoughts, they are indicators of our resistance to well being, and are the origin of energy stagnation and illness.

10-To release muscular tensions, we need to be attentive and aware to the fact that we are tensed, when we are aware that our shoulders, for example, are tensed we can release the tensions by deciding it or by practicing daily relaxations, another way to release the tensions is massage.

11-In our daily lives we get tensed all the time for many different reasons, our lives are full of stress, this fills our inner rivers with huge rocks. It is important to become aware of how and when we get tensed. What are the thoughts that we think that create tensions and resist well being? The right posture and Chi energy flow.

12-The other element that creates stagnation of chi energy flow is our posture, since our childhood we have developed habits and ways to use our body, to stand, walk or sit, not all of these are right.

Some of our postures and ways to use our body need to be corrected in order to restore a healthy and balanced chi flow. To change our posture needs full attention, we need to observe and feel our posture when we stand, walk, sit, eat, watch TV or work.

13-If our lower back is arched when we stand our walk, it creates a stagnation of chi energy in our pelvis and is the origin of back aches.

If we hold our head with our chin away from the throat, we create a chi stagnation around the shoulders and upper back. These two are the main bad habits almost all of us have, but there are many other habits we have that we need to become aware of.

14-Each time our attention drifts away with our thoughts we do things with our body without even feeling it.

Our body needs full time attention to change our bad habits into good ones, it asks us to be aware of our posture minute after minute, all the time, this is the real work!

Every time you caught yourself in a bad posture, correct it until your body will learn the correct posture;the real work is to be attentive, as much as you can, and correct yourself all the time.

15-There are no tricks or secrets, and don’t believe those who will tell you there

are.To have a balanced and healthy chi energy flow in your body, just be attentive to your body as much as you can. It starts with a decision!

16-Every time you notice your chin is away from your throat, stretch your neck, every time you notice that your lower back is arched make it round again.

NOTE;--

When you correct your posture, you will instantly feel a wave of warm energy filling your shoulders and back, and it will make you smile…until one day you will feel your body does it by itself, your body has learned the right posture again.

If you want to attain physical well being, it is time to consider your body as a friend, a partner. Your body hears and listens to your thoughts and its goal is to serve you but Trust it.....SHIVOHAM....
