ORIGIN OF YOG NIDRA;- 07 FACTS;- 1-The system called Tantra has been always regarded as an esoteric and a secret way of spiritual practice, not accessible to the untrained one and to the common folk. The secrecy about the practice seems to consist in the noble outlook of life which the Tantra requires the seeker to entertain, a way of looking at things different from the one in which people are generally accustomed to see, interpret and evaluate things. 2-The philosophy of the Tantra is based on the concept of a dual nature of everything. Nothing is single, but everything is bi-polar. These-called unity of things is only a form taken by a particular manner of the coming together of two forces, Shiva and Shakti, or we may say the positive and the negative poles. 3-According to the doctrine of the Tantra, the sorrow of life is caused by a bi-polar existence, a split of the one into two. To get back from duality to unity is the process of Tantra Sadhana. While this is the objective of every Sadhana, what is the specialty of the Tantra as distinct from other Sadhana in the achievement of this objective? The distinction is very subtle, not easily noticed. 4-The great dictum (statement )of the Tantra is that desire can be overcome only by desire, even as the object can be overcome only by the object. The other aspect of this principle held by the Tantra is that " that by which one falls is also that by which one rises". This is the crux of the whole matter regarding the Tantra, which marks it off from other religious practices and forms of Sadhana. 5-Why this practice is difficult and even dangerous, will be obvious from the nature of the doctrine, while conceding that the doctrine is perhaps highly rational and based on a deep psychology of human nature. Tantra Sadhana includes the recitation of Mantras, performance of rituals through Yantras and an adjustment of oneself to the particular degree of reality, which is the specific meaning of Tantra. 6-The mysterious processes called Nyasa (Anga-Nyasa and Kara-Nyasa) are again inward techniques of feeling the object in oneself, the Deity in one's own being. All this would make it abundantly clear that the Tantra Sadhana is as highly scientific and precise, as it is difficult and dangerous. This is its specialty. 7-Yoga Nidra – yoga technique and yoga philosophy Relaxation does not mean sleep. Relaxation means to be blissfully happy; it has no end. Bliss is absolute relaxation; sleep is a different matter. Sleep gives only mind and sense relaxation. Bliss relaxes the ātma, the inner self; that is why, in tantra, Yoga Nidra is the doorway to Samādhi.” 7-1-Whether you’re an experienced yogi or a newcomer to the world of yoga, meditation and mind-body healing, it’s important to understand that Yoga Nidra has two different meanings... A-A Yoga-tantra technique B- An Indian philosophical concept DESCRIPTION OF YOG NIDRA PRACTICE;- 03 FACTS;- 1-Yoga Nidra is a powerful relaxation and meditation technique derived from ancient Tantra Yoga. This technique induces deep body-mind relaxation with the ultimate goal of increasing self-awareness. 2-The Yoga Nidra technique enables you to remain aware while you enter into the dream and sleeping states of consciousness. The state of Yoga Nidra occurs when you can remain conscious during the deep sleep state (called prajna in the Mandukya Upanishad). 3-The technique is practical and easily accessible, while creating deep relaxation for health, mental peace and higher awareness. Ultimately, Yoga Nidra enables you to experience exalted states of higher consciousness. 2-DESCRIPTION OF INDIAN PHILOSOPHICAL CONCEPT;- 03 FACTS;- Vishnu in Yoga Nidra;- 1-Many Indian philosophical and mythological texts refer to Yoga Nidra as the state that occurs when the Indian god Vishnu sleeps at the time when creation is destroyed (called pralaya). Vishnu is the cohesive power of the universe, so when he sleeps, the universe dissolves. 2-Directing your awareness to a specific part of the body would relax and recharge that area – opening a doorway into other parts of the body and mind for further healing and rejuvenation. For example, a young student, fell asleep while a nearby group of people chanted mantras – many of which he had not heard before. Even though he was deeply asleep during the chanting, when he awoke and heard these mantras again, he seemed to know them. It is because his subtle body had heard the mantras. 3-Highly complex and ancient tantric techniques had great potential, but need to be translated to fit our modern lives ; accessible and practical to everyone , to people of all ages, abilities and backgrounds & beneficially practiced by people of any religion or culture.” DOES NYASA, A METHOD OF AWAKENING SUBTLE ENERGY?- 09 FACTS;- 1-The characteristic feature of Yoga Nidra is the systematic rotation of consciousness in the body, which originated from the tantric process of nyasa (meaning ‘to place’ or ‘to take the mind to a point’).Nyasa is more concerned about in Tantra, but people only tend to perform it outwardly without knowing the spiritual significance if it. 2-During nyasa, a yogi consciously touches various parts of his or her body while repeating mantras. When this is done in the prescribed manner, the yogi can awaken subtle energy within the physical matter of the body. 3-According to the Oxford Sanskrit English Dictionary, the word Nyasa means: “to place, to set on or in, to use, to touch”. What is touched are the body’s various parts – what is placed, is a mantra (sound), for example, on the appropriate places. 4-It is worth noting that the dictionary further defines Nyasa as: “Mental consecration (dedication to the service and worship of a deity)or allocation of various bodily parts to guardian spirits“. This definition is correct, as far as I can see, but is insufficient as it stands. Apparently, the ‘facts’ elucidated in encyclopaedias depend on who is supplying the information; the diverse and at times peculiar or limited definitions of Yoga and Tantra are clear examples of this. 5-The purpose of using Nyasa in Tantric yoga is to awaken consciousness. With that in mind .Literally, Nyasa is the process of charging a part of the body, or an organ of another living body, with a specified power through touch . For instance, by placing the fire mudra [a way of holding the fingers when touching] on the heart region uttering the fire-mantra ‘ram’, the adept’s heart is made into the cosmic fire… 6-Homunculus (a microscopic but fully formed human) and brain..The little human” (motor homunculus) shows, along the marked band across the cerebral cortex, which regions of the brain are linked with the various parts of the body. 7-Nyasa can consist of touching the various bodily parts by hand. It can be performed by oneself, or by teacher. But it can also be done mentally, by thinking of the specific areas and calling them by name. This happens, for example, during the teacher’s guidance of Yoga Nidra. 8-Nyasa also involves the placing of a mantra (a sound, a syllable or combination of syllables, a string of words) on different parts of the body. This is done mentally, or the mantra can be said aloud. These methods can be combined so that you touch your body,at the same time as you name the mantra for the place that you touch. 9-The Sanskrit alphabet, just like runes(The runic alphabet which is a composite of the runic symbols) in the Northern countries, does not only serve as a group of letters used to form words, but also each letter has an inherent power, a vibration that forms the basis of the science of mantra. In one form of Nyasa, the letters of the Sanskrit alphabet are distributed over the whole body. This is called Matrika Nyasa . TYPES OF NYASA;- Nyasa is often performed before or during pujas (acts of reverence), at the hands of a seer or by the individual who is chanting or meditating. There are different types of nyasa practice. Some of the most common are: 1-Rishi nyasa 2-Kara nyasa 3-Matrika nyasa 4-Sadanga nyasa In some nyasa practices, a mantra from a book is considered ineffective. Instead, it is believed that the mantras should be produced by a rishi. The relaxation, meditation and visualization exercises (also called yoga nidra) that are used at the end of a yoga practice -- and, during which, practitioners "place" efforts of relaxation on specific body parts -- originally stem from mental nyasa rituals. 1-WHAT IS RISHI NYASA ?- It is divided in five parts;-1-Rishi 2- Chanda3-Mantra Devata4- Bija 5-Keelaka 1-RISHI;- 04 FACTS;- 1-1-It is a Sanskrit saying that the worship that is performed without Nyasas, Rishi and diety vinyasas is almost wasted.Hence when we chant a mantra;Care for Chant, then who is the Rishi of it, who is the diety, which type of chanting should be done etc. 1-2-Rishi word is derived from Ri -root, that is a sage that has experienced the mantra in his medication. After receiving the mantra from the Guru, the disciple does the Nyasa of the Rishi who first found this mantra, so that he may also achieve the height of the meditation as the sage had. 1-3-This Nyasa needs to be done by touching the head because the head area is considered to be the area where God, Guru reside. Touching the head with all four fingers without thumb. 1-4-Every mantra has a Rishi (sage who ‘saw’ the mantra). The Rishi sits on the head. Rishi nyasa is to worship the Rishi of the mantra on our head so the Rishi will bless us with the knowledge and siddhi of the mantra. The Rishi tunes our consciousness to the frequency of the ‘vision’ from which the mantra originated. 2-CHANDA;- 04 FACTS;- 2-1-The next part of mantra is the chanda (meter); how to say the mantra in a particular rhythm so the deity is pleased. One of the most powerful meters is gayatri. 2-2-Gayatri has 24 syllables, the next chanda has 28 syllables, then the next has 32 (anustup chanda). It goes 4+4+4…this is the formula. In three movements gayatri can cross the zodiac two times, 24 syllables, and 12 signs. 24 is auspicious because of the siddhamsa. 2-3-When chanda is perfect it creates a vibration in the room that continues in the room even after you have completed mantra. When gayatri is said once the whole room gets light. Proper chanda (meter) benefits all around. If said incorrect the person saying it will get benefit but not others, one cannot alter the vibration in a room, and will not be able to effect others. Chanda has the power to affect others. 3-MANTRA DEVTA;- 3-1-Every mantra has a devata who sits in the heart. The devata is invoked by the mantra to come into the heart. If you use a krora (harsh) devata, then a harsh devata will come into your heart. A person will get the mantra siddhi when the mantra devata sits in the heart. 3-2-Ishta devata is already in the heart, and you (atmakaraka) is already in the heart. In vishishtadvaita there is two, in advaita they are the same (there is just One). The mantra devata should never be inimical/unfriendly to the Ishta or the Atmakaraka, in temporal relationship according to the chart of an individual. If mantra devata hurts the Ishta or Atmakaraka there will be a lot of trouble. 3-3-Certain devas are specific for certain purposes. The devata must even be individualized for the specific form of an individual deity, whether to use Kaleshwar or Mahakala. For example, Bhairav is used for problems with the Lagna, Kal-Bhairva is use for Saturn in the Lagna, Batuka is used for Mars in the Lagna. If the mantra devata is inimical to the lagna a person’s character will fall, they may get into bad things, the body will start to pain, and they may start sinful behavior. 4-BIJA;- 4-1-Every mantra has a bija (seed syllable) from which it sprouts, which creates the mantra. Namah Shivaya comes form the bija ‘Haum’. Hare Krishna mahamantra comes from “Kleem’. When doing sadhana (spiritual practice) the mantra should be placed on the Shiv lingam . One should concentrate there and feel the mantra emanate and rise up from there.. 4-2-Every mantra has a Shakti which is established in the feet. The feet move you in a particular direction, as the shakti of a mantra guides you to go in a specific direction. “Gatistwam Gatistwam Twam Eka Bhavani”. It is the Shakti which gives gati (direction) in life. 5-KILAKA;- 5-1-The sealing and unsealing of a mantra. Every mantra is a temple and needs someone to open the door for you to go inside, utkilana- to unlock. This is why getting a mantra out of a book is almost impossible or take a lot of time; because you need someone to unlock the door to it. This can be the guru’s grace: they open it for you /give you an utkilan mantra, the key to unlock the mantra. Then you get results quickly. 5-2-The key is in the solar plexus with the Sun god who is the Guru for everyone. The 1000 Maharishis sit in the Sun chariot with the keys. 1000 rays come from the Maharishis. When you pick up a mantra the rishi goes to the crown of the head (representative of the sahasrara). 5-3- It is said in a year pick up one mantra, don’t pick up ten rishis at once. If one is doing multiple mantras at once, try to make them from the same rishi. But don’t randomly do many mantras from many random rishis. 5-4-The area of Keelaka is the Belly area, actually a Keelaka is also a kind of spiritual armour, hence for that the belly point should be touched a while doing the mantra nyasa. Note: Stotrams reside in the heart and have built in unlocks but they can’t do as much as a mantra. Stotra is a dance between the atman and the paratman. 2-WHAT IS ANGA/KAR NYASA?- 2-1-The body itself is rendered as the temple of the Lord, wherein the various limbs become the alter upon which with a heart of love and faith the devotee invokes and installs various deities. In this process, in order to bring the full blast of the sacred suggestions to him, the repetition of each of these mantras is emphasized by a corresponding physical sign. The idea is only to establish the correct mood for devoted contemplation. 2-2-Kar nyasa that is the nyasa of the hands, in this all the fingers of the hands are touched. The spiritual reason behind this is that, even as per the Yog mudra postures- the fingers represent the elements like fire, water, air etc all 5 elements the fingers are touched with the thumb by chanting mantras. 2-3-The process of Anganyasa and Karanyasa is undertaken to invoke the deity into us. The human being has 72000 naadis (subtle channels of energy). All these naadi endings are at the tip of our fingers. As it is not possible to touch all the 72000 naadis, we touch the finger tips and invoke the deity into our body. 2-4-Kara Nyasa – 1. Thumb, 2.first finger, 3. Middle finger, 4. Ring finger, 5. Little finger and 6. the palm and backside of the palm.. 3-WHAT IS MATRIKA NYASA?- There are different variations of Nyasa. For example the conscious placing of the 50 letters of Sanskrit alphabet onto parts of ones body ( known as Matrika Nyasa)...Matrika is the word for the Sanskrit alphabet. Mother. 3-1-Matrika is the source of all mantras, the origin of all sciences and the soil from which all the principles, all sages and all knowledge are born.” --Laxmi Tantra Matrika Nyasa is a different form of Nyasa from that which is used in Yoga Nidra. But if you have experienced the Deep Yoga Nidra you will be able to see the similarities between one of the larger sections of the relaxation and Matrika Nyasa. 3-2-The earth, water, fire, air and ether (space) elements also play a role in Nyasa. The body is divided into five parts, each with its own element. The body and its various parts can be consecrated to one or more guardian spirits – even to planets or holy places. The name of the spirit or god, of the planet, place or element is then added to the string of mantras and recited aloud or repeated mentally. 3-3-Naturally, Nyasa is used because it has an effect on the body and mind. It’s not just an empty ritual. Nyasa is related to, and possibly predates, Acupuncture etc.. But whereas these other methods are based on the physical body and its energy points, and are mainly used for healing, Nyasa is more than this, in that it also has methods for ‘touching’ and awakening our numerous dimensions, e.g. through the psychic chakras. 3-4-First , A part of your body, then the corresponding letter, and you should try to feel the sound, vibration of each letter being established in particular parts of your body.VIZ... OUTER MATRIKA NYASA;- (am) forehead, (ām) mouth, (im) right eye, (īm) left eye, (um) right ear, (ūm) left ear, (ṛm) right nostril, (ṝm) left nostril, (ḷrm) right cheek, ॡ (ḷṝm) left cheek, (em) upper lip, (aim) lower lip, (om) upper teeth (aum), lower teeth (aṁ) crown of the head (aḥ) tip of the tongue (kam), right shoulder (kham), right elbow (gam), right wrist (gham), base of right fingers (ṅam), right arm fingers tips (cam), left shoulder (cham), left elbow (jam), left wrist (jham), base of left fingers (ñam), left arm fingers tips (ṭam), right hip (ṭham), right knee (ḍam), right ankle (ḍham), base of right toes left toes base (nam). left armpit (śam) NOTE;-All seven chakras are connected with the corresponding letters, petals & vibration of each letter, also being established in particular parts of our body. So,it is the part of Inner Matrika Nyasa... 4-WHAT IS SADANGA NYASA?- 4-1-According to the scriptures, the body with which we worship becomes eligible by performing Nyasa. One basic principle of Sadhna is – Worship gods by becoming one- and the performance of Nyasa is based on this very principle. We worship dieties with our body only, and as long as our body is impure then how will we be able to move ahead? With the help of Achmana, Pranayama we purify ourselves similar is Nyasa. 4-2-Moreover there is a feeling of attachment to the body, which is tried to be forgotten in Nyasa.Sadanga Nyasa...Sad means Six, Anga means Limbs...it involves mentally or physically placing mantra into six parts of the body. 4-3-Kar nyasa(given above) and ang nyasa are its two categories- Angnyasa is the Nyasa of the body, which are touched by chanting mantras. So the Anga-Nyasa for the Mantra -Ong Satchitekam Brahma is in this order:- 1-Om Namaha : Heart 2-Sat Svaha : Forehead 3-Chit Vashat : Crown lock 4-Ekam Hung : Shoulders 5-Brahma Vaushat: The Three Eyes 6-Ong Satchitekam Brahma Phat: The Palms NOTE;- Due to the fact that every mantra has it's own attribution to the bodily parts in nyasa .But there is a method to know the specific order of the mantra, in anga-nyasa(6 bodily parts) & it's always the same order as given above DESCRIPTION OF STEPS;- A. First of all Heart Nyasa is done, love, tenderness, etc are its concerned subjects. Hence by this Nyasa of the heart, all the inanimate objects should be intellectually separated from yourselves which is the meaning of Namo phrase. B. Secondly --Swaha(Destruction of harmful energy) is chanted as the second phrase, Swaha means sacrificing- what else can be the solution of getting rid of the ego? The hand touches the head, where the seventh chakra is located with the chanting of Swaha. C. Then the phrase of Vashat (to acquire power and wealth) -is chanted, The seventh chakra, where Shikha is kept, is an antenna for absorbing cosmic energy, only with the thumb this area is touched. D. Then HUM(Anger and courage, to frighten one’s enemy) is chanted, this is a securing mantra, for securing the body, the base of the pinky finger of the left hand over the right hand is touched. E. Then Vaushat is chanted, and all the three eyes, one including the third eye are touched using the index finger over right eye, middle over the third eye and ring finger over the left eye. F. The final phrase of the heart Nyasa is -Fatt -which means putting in fire, spirituality into the fire of Knowledge. NOTE;- Hence all the above categories of the Nyasas are prevelant in all kinds of worships but the Nyasas like Rishi Nyasa, Mantra Nyasa and Matrika Nyasas are only for special devotees. PATTERN OF NYASA;- Nyasa can mean... 1-Imprinting 2-Placing 3-Consecration of parts of the body 4-Charging 5-To arouse consciousness in... 6-Imbuing(inspire) with mantras. 7-It is a very old practice in Tantra. A variation of it has been used in modern times in Rotation of Consciousness practices .Essentially the practice involves infusing divinity or divine energy into ones body or into the body of another. 8-Nyasa can be done externally using the tips of the fingers of the right hand to touch the parts of the body, or it can be done internally, visualising. 9-There are generally complicated mantras ascribed to Nyasa but one can use instead the universal mantra Om as advised to be done constantly by wandering sages in the Aruni Upanishad... Uttering “Om” “Om” “Om”, they should mentally place this Mantra, the Upanishad, in the different parts of their body 10-One could use whatever variation of Om they prefer, such as Amen, Amin, or some other charged word like Love or Peace. 11-Placing his hand on his heart he says the So Hang (So - Ham) mantra, ( I am That (He/She)) thereby identifying himself with the Devi'' .... Translation of the Maha Nirvana Tantra ESSENCE;- Nyasa is a very important and powerful Tantric rite. It is placing of the tips of the fingers of the right hand on various parts of the body, accompanied by Mantra. A COMPLICATED NYASA EXERCISE;- One can use the simpler idea described in the Aruni Upanishad. One possible practice follows... SIX STEPS;-;- 1-Lie down. Either on mat, or do practice in bed before sleep, Or sit. 2-Close eyes and release tightness in body. Settle mind. 3-Visualising the form of the mantra (OM), or instead some symbolic representation of charge, or energetic force that appeals to you, (light, warmth, etc) as you move your awareness in a systematic rotation through the parts of the body be aware of that charge briefly and fully infusing the part of the body you dwell on. 4-Right hand thumb, first finger on right hand, second finger, third finger, small finger, palm of hand, back of hand, wrist, lower arm, elbow, upper arm, shoulder, arm-pit, right side of body, waist, right hip..... Be fully aware of the placing of the mantra... 4-1-Right thigh, knee, back of knee, calf muscle, shin bone, ankle, heel, sole of foot, top of foot, right big toe, second toe, third toe, fourth toe, fifth toe. 5-Move your awareness with the mantra to... The left hand thumb, first finger on left hand, second finger, third finger, small finger, palm of hand, back of hand, wrist, lower arm, elbow, upper arm, shoulder, arm-pit, left side of body, waist, hip, left thigh, left knee, back of knee, calf muscle, shin bone, ankle, heel, sole of left foot, top of foot, left big toe, second toe, third toe, fourth toe, fifth toe. 6-Keep your awareness moving smoothly and at a pace that holds your attention. Quite quickly is fine. Slower if suits.... The whole of right leg, the whole of left leg, right buttock, left buttock, tail bone, small of back, middle of back, upper back, right shoulder blade, left shoulder blade, the whole back... 6-1-Back of neck, back of head, top of head, right side of head including the right ear, left side of head including the left ear, forehead... 6-2-Right eye, left eye, eyebrow centre, tip of nose, right nostril, left nostril, right cheek, left cheek, upper lip, lower lip, teeth, tongue, chin, throat, right side of chest, left side of chest, centre of chest, ribcage.... 6-3-Upper abdomen, navel, lower abdomen, the whole belly, the groin, the whole front of body, the whole back of body, the whole front of body, the whole back of body, the whole body together, the whole body together, the whole body together..... NOTE;- After completing round of Nyasa, you can either repeat more rounds, or ground into your surroundings and open your eyes, or go to sleep, if you have not already fallen asleep...OM..OM...OM A MODERN/ WESTERN NYASA EXERCISE;- 1-In modern western terms, nyasa creates mind-body connections by linking together neural networks, merging physical sensation in the body with thoughts and feelings of sanctity, joy, devotion, protection, and warmth. It is the predecessor (by thousands of years) of the practice of “anchoring” thoughts and behaviors 2-In eastern spiritual terms, nyasa is a consecration (Abhishek), a ritual protection (through invocation and the creation of sacred space within the body. To experience a simplified, non-religious western nyasa, try the following: FIVE STEPS;- 1-First, close your eyes visualize a yellow smiley face, just like... A big, happy smiley face right in your palm, and the size of your palm. Look at your imagined yellow smiley face until you start to smile. 2-Now, with your eyes closed, “place” that smiley face in the center of your chest, by touching your palm to your chest, rubbing your palm in gentle circles, and saying the word “happy” a few times out loud. 3-Then repeat this “placing,” this time on your belly, placing the smiley face in your belly by rubbing your belly gently with your palm, visualizing the smiley face laughing out loud, and saying “happy”. 4-Feel the results.Notice the changes in your body.Is it Warmth, tingles, circulation, connection, joy? 5-Now repeat the process, touching any part of your body that needs it – sore joints, achy sinuses, whatever. The more you repeat the practice, the more you can’t help smiling – and you’ll feel warmth and blood rushing to each area where you “place” the smiley face… Mind-body medicine at it’s simplest.Smile, breathe right, and keep your tongue up .. THE KEY POINTS;- 11 FACTS;- 1-The long and deep Yoga Nidra is based on simple and therefore very effective variations of Nyasa, from beginning to end. 2- Once you have followed the guidance in the deep Yoga Nidra, you are familiar with the way you move your awareness through all parts of the body; with how you experience heaviness and lightness, warmth and cold, pain and pleasure. And with how you get in contact with the chakras in different ways, and experience certain symbols, landscapes, pictures etc. 3-There are several dimensions to our being. In daily life, we are familiar with the body, breath, thoughts, emotions, moods – and with states like wakefulness, dreaming and sleeping. But there are other states such as the meditative, the shamanic, the hypnotic, the intoxicated … 4-The dimensions of the human being can be described from the basis of different backgrounds. Jung and Freud introduced concepts such as the conscious, the subconscious, the unconscious and the libido. In the European occult or mystic tradition, there are concepts that, to a certain degree, correspond with those of other cultures: the physical body, body humours (as in Ayurveda), vital energy, the astral body and the causal body. 5-Similarly in Europe, there is, or was, a concept such as bliss (intense and independent happiness). In the Indian texts, the Upanishads, we find the following description of the human dimensions.. 6-The worship of different devatas introduces forms of Nyasa tailored to the particular divinity. For example, in the ritual worship of Bala, there are optional forms such as the Nine Yoni Nyasa, relating to the nine triangles in her yantra and an Arrow Nyasa, related to the five flowering arrows she holds in one of her hands. 7-And in the worship of Jvalamukhi, there is a very extended Nyasa which relates to the 21,600 breaths a human being takes in a day and a night. This is related to the position of the chakras within the human frame. 8-The worship of Kali is very ancient and there are hundreds of forms of related Nyasas. In an appendix to the Guhyakali section of the Mahakalasamhita, we find a multitude including Kalikulakrama Nyasa, Yogini Nyasa, etc.. 9-Devta Nyas –means a diety, the diety of the mantra resides in the heart and hence this Nyasa should be done by touching the heart with the hand. 10-Shakti Nyasa –means the power.. How the mantra is given power, just as the feet make our body move hence similarly we want the mantra to move, hence this Nyasa is to be done by touching the feet. 11-The grace –The grace of the God almighty is wished for in the final Nyasa, in this both the hands are joined and opened up in the front as if asking for something like begging, and it is imagined that the grace of the god is being bestowed upon us.
