MEANING OF CLOCKWISE WALK;- 03 FACTS;- 1-When going round the park or the garden pathway in the housing compound, the question of whether we should run clockwise or anti-clockwise often emerge when we set our foot out. Why does it matters? In fact, the question of whether to go clockwise or anti-clockwise has been a subject of argument . 2-When you go clockwise, you are moving with certain natural forces & NATURE ALWAYS MOVES CLOCKWISE. So ,if we want to get support with nature; go clockwise & become healthy.Any consecrated (dedicated formally to a religious purpose) space functions like a vortex of Energies which means that it reverberates(echo), and it also draws. Both ways, an intermingling of what we are referring to as the divine and what we are calling as the self, happens. 3-We are not looking at seeing the divine. We want to realize and become divine. The idea of being in a consecrated space is to constantly allow this transaction to happen, so that gradually, the living body itself becomes like a divine entity. If you want, you can keep this body like a beast. Or you can make it like a sacred form or divinity. TRADITION OF CIRCUMAMBULATION IN TEMPLES;- 05 FACTS;- 1-Pradakshina means circumambulation. Circumambulation means going in a clockwise direction, particularly in the northern hemisphere. In the northern hemisphere of the planet, this is a natural phenomenon. 2-If you notice closely, many natural phenomenon turn clockwise above the Equator and anticlockwise below it. It is not just with air or water, the very energy system functions like this. 3-This is why if there is an energetic place in the northern hemisphere, and you want to derive benefit from or absorb the energy, you must go clockwise around it. If you want to benefit more, your hair should be wet. 4-If you want to benefit even more, your clothes should also be wet. Clothes remain wet for a long time. So wet clothes are the best way to go around any energy space because you will receive it best – you are most receptive that way. 5-One study though showed that statistically people tend to turn left more easily than right, although the variability is large. This may suggest that running in a left-hand turn (anti-clockwise) is easier than in a right-hand turn (clockwise). The study concluded that ‘veering (change direction suddenly) is related to a sense of straight ahead that could be shaped by vestibular (relating to the sense of balance or that of the inner ear,) inputs’. WHAT IS INFINITY WALK /8” SHAPED WALKING EXERCISE? WHAT IS IT ? 07 FACTS;- 1-The Infinity Walk method, also called "figure eight walking", is in fact a figure eight pattern a person must walk on while keeping his/her eyes on an object or person and his/her head turned at a 90-degree angle. 2-Walking along this pattern stimulates the simultaneous management of one's senses: movement, sight, hearing, thinking, speaking. The method is both very simple and quite profound. This paradox comes from the foundation of the method being anchored to a seemingly simple repetitive movement, walking in a figure-eight pattern. 3-Walking is one of the best exercise and will maintain good health. We should walk with free mind without any distraction. If it is done properly excellent health will be maintained. In this modern world Morning walk is becoming fashion and many of the people walk chatting with friends i.e.Walking with talking . 4-Among the walking exercise best walking exercise is “8 shape walk method”. It is supreme of all. This is one of the best methods which give miraculous benefits as suggested by the Yogis and Siddhars. It should be practiced daily for 15-30 minutes. 5-The systematic refinement of this movement and the careful timing of additional multi-tasking skills to the basic movement enables the potential for profound change in the Infinity Walker. 6-The unique way in which the figure-eight movement pattern is progressively combined with sensory, perceptual, language, cognitive and relational skills can produce positive change in the whole person, on every level of growth Procedure 7-Only at the time of Driving in the 8 shape line by vehicle we get license. But if we walk in the 8 shape line we will maintain good health. We will see the method of 8 walk, how it should be done properly, and what are all the benefits. THE USE OF INFINITY WALK;- 08 FACTS;- 1-Infinity Walk is a therapeutic(relating to the healing of disease) method for progressively developing coordination and certain areas of cognitive functioning. It is typically used with compromised individuals such as those with brain injuries or learning disabilities. 2-Teachers and therapists use it to improve some of the essential foundation skills that must be mastered before learning can occur. 3-The Infinity Walk is used in fields including elementary education, special education, physical therapy and occupational therapy. 4-It has been used by U.S. physical and occupational therapists in the rehabilitation of persons with brain injuries. 5-It has been recognized as a particularly effective activity in developing multisensory integration in occupational therapy, including some clients with learning disabilities. 6-A beginning student or patient learns to walk smoothly in a figure-eight pattern while looking at an object or person across the room. 7-As they become able to do that consistently, other physical and mental activities are added to the coordinated walking. An advanced walker can maintain a smooth figure-eight walk while doing several other activities, e.g., simultaneously gesturing and doing mental arithmetic as they converse with their teacher or therapist. 8-Infinity Walking can be done under a variety of conditions: indoors or outdoors, on foot or when riding a wheelchair, therapeutic riding horse, or other means of seated ambulation(a technique of postoperative care in which a patient gets out of bed and engages in light activity) . There are systems of curved handrails that facilitate Infinity Walking by those unable to stand or walk on their own. PROCEDURE OF INFINITY WALK;- 05 FACTS;- 1-Practice this in the morning, evening or in empty stomach, in the open or in a room in the north-south direction. Draw a parallel line from east to west or west to east in the north side and leave ten feet gap and draw 8 shape line; now practice “8” shaped walking. 2-Walk North to south and South to North clockwise and anticlockwise fifteen minutes each. 3-Practice “8” shaped walking first and then you may do some simple yogic exercise and breathing exercise. 4-During this walk we will necessarily concentrate in walking in the 8 shape line. Possibility of chatting with friends in person or in mobile like in normal walking is avoided. Proper and normal breathing is possible. 5-In our hand palm and leg palm all reflex points of our entire internal organs are located. Due to the pressure in palm, at the time of walking,we should walk in bare foot without shoes ;So that all our internal organs are activated and we get relief from concerned diseases. BENEFITS OF INFINITY WALK ;- 10 FACTS;- 1-During walk in the 8 shape our entire body ( hip, abdomen etc.) is twisted and all our organs are activated. 2-At the end of thirty minutes of 8 walking stuffy nose is cleared and feel free breathing from both the nostrils. In the mean time we can feel the cough in the lungs and sinus cavity get dissolved. The phlegm is eliminated either by spitting out or getting assimilated into the body and your asthma is reversed. 3-As five kilogram of oxygen is inhaled due to complete respiration, phlegm in the lungs is released. Intake of five kilograms of oxygen energizes the body. 4-Headache, Digestive Problems, Thyroid, Obesity, and Knee pains, Rheumatoid Arthritis, and constipation is reversed. It reduces the sugar level in the blood and reverses your diabetes and its complication within a year of regular 8 walking twice daily for half an hour. 5-Improves eye sight. Due to concentration in the 8 shaped line, short sightedness and other eye related problems are improved /curtailed. 6-Hearing power is improved. Gentle walking reduces the blood pressure. 7-Practicing this for half an hour twice a day cures foot cracks, all types’ pain and knee pain. 8-Aged persons and those who are unable to do this by themselves can do it with the help of others and get benefited even paralysis. 9-Shoulder, neck, back, lumbar, knee, heels, cervical and lumbar, spondylitis, sciatica, disc prolapsed, paralysis, depression, epilepsy, migraine, diabetics, B.P, thyroid, kidney and gall bladder stones, asthma, sinusitis, piles, colitis, nervous debility , sleeplessness, Heart diseases, kidney problems are benefited through this “8” walking. 10-Practicing this exercise regularly, brings back youth to us, reverses all your diseases And a person of seventy years old may feel that he is young like his grand children. You will be walking around these obstacles in a figure-eight pattern. 2. Put up the hart chart on the wall at eye level. The hart chart should be centered in front of the two obstacles. 2-1-What is Hart Charts;-Hart Chart Decoding is a vision therapy technique that can improve both oculomotor skills and. accommodative facility. It help to train our eyes in accommodation, which is changing our focusing from distance to near. 2-2-Specifically, Hart Charts help to improve accommodative facility - the ability to increase and decrease our focusing on demand. A variety of binocular vision problems cause a decrease in our ability to accurately focus: some people focus too much and cannot relax; other focus too little and experience blurry vision for close tasks. 3. Start the first level by standing between the two obstacles and facing away from the chart. Walk to your right behind the first obstacle and coming around to the front of it. Complete a figure eight around the buckets as you read the Hart chart. Be sure to step right on the beat. 4. Once you have mastered this level and are able to read the chart without getting lost or losing track of the beat, try the second level. This time start with your body centered between the obstacles, facing toward the Hart chart and come in front of the bucket to your right. This will mean you will have to turn your head to keep your eyes fixed on the Hart chart. Again, be sure that you are reading smoothly and stepping right on the beat. 5. For the third level walk the same way as you did on the second, only this time lead with your heels (walking backward). You should not have to turn your head to keep your eyes on the Hart chart for this level. It is especially important that you listen to the rhythm on this level, as it is much harder to keep the beat when walking backward than when walking forward. 6. For the fourth level walk the same direction that you did for the first level, only lead with your heels (walking backward). You will have to turn your head to keep your eyes on the Hart chart for this level. 7. For the fifth level start back walking the way you were walking on the first level, walking forward without having to turn your head. As you walk, step on the beat, and slap your opposite knee on the off beat (halfway between beats). Practice keeping this rhythm (stomp, slap, stomp, slap) as you walk around the figure eight pattern. Once you have mastered this, start reading the Hart chart as you walk. 8. For the sixth, seventh, and eighth levels, simply repeat the second, third, and fourth, but add knee taps to the procedure. Always make sure that you are staying on beat and reading smoothly and consistently without skipping letters or lines on the Hart chart. EXERCISE TWO -FOR CHILDREN;- 07 FACTS;- 1-Set two cones or other interesting visual references (ex. two dinosaur figurines) on the ground, 3 to 5 feet apart. 2-The child must begin by learning to follow the Infinity Walk pattern. You can use chalk (outdoors) or adhesive tape (indoors) to draw a figure eight pattern around the items. As soon as the child understands the pattern, erase the chalk or remove the adhesive tape. 3-The adult or another child stands, facing the centre of the figure eight and holding a visual target in his/her hands. The visual target can also be displayed on a wall, for example if it's a small poster containing letters or a row of illustrations. 4-The child walks along the pattern at an average speed while keeping his/her eyes on the target at all times. Depending on the child's starting position, he/she may be able to easily maintain visual contact with the target at all times (his/her back to the target at the start). 5-He/she may also have to turn his/her body and head to relocate the target every time he/she completes the figure eight pattern (facing the target at the start). Start with the direction that will not involve the child having to rotate his/her head. Encourage the child to change direction later on to increase the level of difficulty. 6-To further increase the level of difficulty, you can ask the child questions about the visual target. For example, you may encourage the child to name the items seen as he/she walks by them. 7-As you increase the level of difficulty (by asking questions), it is normal for the Infinity Walk to deteriorate somewhat. Continue practicing to improve the child's ability to process information and follow the pattern at the same time. ........SHIVOHAM.....
