SIGNIFICANCE OF BRAHMASTHAN;-
10 FACTS;-
1-Brahmasthan, the centre of the house is an important element of ancient Indian Vaastu Shastra.Brahmasthan can also be termed as the innermost, sanctified and blessed zone of the house. All the directions have their meeting point at the center of the structure and scatter their positive energies in all directions. This positive energy is like life thread for living beings of the occupants of the structure.
2-The Brahmasthana is the kamalanala, the lotus pipe which connects the Mooladhara i.e. Earth to Sahasrara i.e. Space through which the positive energies from the cosmos are showered. The inhabitants can experience well being – physically, mentally and spiritually – only when the Brahmasthan is maintained in perfect order or harmoniously remedied.
3-Vaastu Nabhi is a Divine Energy Tool that represents the potent energy which is manifest in the cosmos and used frequently in traditional Indian Vaastu Shastra for strengthening the center of the plot and building – the Brahmasthan or Brahmasthala .
4-Brahmasthan, the Centre of the House is an important element of ancient Indian Vaastu Shastra. It is the innermost, sanctified and spiritual zone of the house. All directions meet here at the centre (Brahmasthan) of the house and spread positive energy in all directions of the house, which is very essential for the inhabitants in that house.
It is known as the heart of the house, as it is the Umblical Cord or Navel portion of the Vaastu Purush. It is the place of Creator Lord Brahma. Brahmasthan is a very important place for offices, shops, factories and industries.
5- It is extremely important that the Brahmastan be kept free from all types of obstacles and objects, to enjoy health and wealth. This is the primary reason why ancestors constructed a courtyard open to sky in the centre – rooms were built only around the courtyard. The Brahmasthan, the centre of each room, centre of the building, centre of each structure is of paramount importance.
6-Brahmasthan principles also apply to all vacant plots as they are applicable to all structures. Thus the Brahmasthan is by all means Marmasthan of the structure, it is also extremely sensitive like the Marmasthan of the human body.
7-As per Vastu Shastra Brahmasthan of each and every structure as far as possible be kept with no walls, beams, heavy weights, or blockages. It therefore, is evident that Brahmasthan is doubtless an extremely powerful and sanctified zone of all the structures as well as plots.
It is as sacred as Ishaan Zone (North-east) and should be kept non-obstructive and tidy in order to have better inflow of energies.
8-The Brahmasthan is the position of the ‘Space or Akash’ element. The rest of the four basic elements as per Vastu Shastra are Air, Water, Fire and Earth. The Brahmasthan, the centre of each room, centre of the building, centre of each structure is of paramount importance as the same is one of the most vital features of Vastu, since it is the that point of the area where energies from all the different directions meet and are self–generated into the home.
10-As presence of any pit in the Brahmasthan gives insanity amongst the inmates Vastu Dosh Nivaran should be carried out immediately.-If regular health problems are noticed, the Brahmasthan of the structure should be checked first for defects and steps to be taken for Vastu Dosh Nivaran/remedies.
MEANING OF MARMASTHAN(The sensitive points) ;-
08 FACTS;-
1-It is located at the spine near the solar plexus. Manipura chakra is responsible for dynamism, energy, willpower (Ichchha shakti) and achievements, which radiates prana in the entire human body. It is associated with the power of fire digestion and inflow of money.
2-Marmasthan Marmasthan refers to a critically sensitive spot. The reason why a Brahma Sthan should be left open or to be kept free from any objects is that the Vastu Purush has certain parts of his body which are called the Marmasthan or the nerve centres. About 10000 years back, Vastu Shastra avoided the MarmaSthans, the sensitive points. these Natural Earth energy lines are used as carrier waves .
3-There is a purpose behind everything on Earth. The purpose of these energy lines, and the fields in their Grids (Mandalas) are meant to connect the whole world, and become complementary to fulfill each other's purpose.
4-These Marmasthan are derived by lines connecting twelve Gods and Goddesses residing on the Vastu Purush. The nine points where these lines intersect each other are called the Marmasthan. These points are on and around the Brahma Sthan of the house.
5-The Brahma Sthan is the centre of the house and the presence of Marmasthan is the exact reason why we should keep the Brahma Sthan free from all heavy objects and it should be clean as much as possible.
6-These points are very sensitive and extreme care needs to be taken of this area. In case any heavy object is kept on the Marmasthan or the floor is drilled to make modifications to the house then the repercussions are severe and sudden on the occupants of the house.
7-However, if we keep these basics in mind and follow them then the Vastu Purush would surely bless us with unending happiness, prosperity and peace.
8-Based on the above discussions above it can be said that Brahmasthan is by all means Marmasthan of the structure. It is also extremely sensitive like the Marmasthan of the human body.
GOOD FOR BRAHMASTHAN(3 by 3);-
1-It is considered as the home of Lord Brahma, so it should always be kept neat and clean as much as possible.
2-It is always best to leave the area empty and obstacle-free, i.e. free from any obstructions to enjoy more happiness, prosperity, peace, and harmony at home.
3- Puja room or prayer place can be made and sacred rituals can be done at that place.
4-It can be made as a lawn or compound and if possible, in the middle of the place, a Tulsi (Basil) plant or small flower plant garden can be made.
5-Brahmasthan should be kept decorated, maybe with flower plants or beautiful small trees.
6-We can use it as a conference room or meeting room, but avoid using heavy table or chairs in that room.
7-The dining hall can be built in that place leaving the center of the hall empty.
8-In small houses, where keeping open space is not possible, that place can be made a living room and in the middle of the room, there should not be any furniture like table, sofa, etc.
9-We can differentiate the center of the house (Brahmasthan) with walls of different colors or if it’s an open place, then with a floor of different color or boundaries.

HOW CAN WE REMOVE THE DEFECTS OF BRAHMASTHA?-
16 FACTS;-
1- For removing the Brahmasthana defects and doshas; Many Vaastu Pundits insert a Vaastu Nabhi (Brass, Copper or Wood) also known as Vaastu Shanku into the Brahmasthan itself for nurturing the life force energies present there.
2-Many Vaastu Pundits also insert a Programmed Nabhi into the North East also, to directly link the Divine Energies of the Ishanya (Ishaan) or North East and the life force energies of the Brahmasthan. It is very important that the Vaastu Nabhis should be Energized.
3-It is said that Correct alignment of the Vaastu Nabhi initiates the cosmic divine connection along the source directions. By placing correctly physical Vaastu Nabhis (made of Divine Shriparni Wood) that is specifically programmed to that building and activated systematically, the cosmic pranic energy flowing through North East can be greatly enhanced.
4-The Vaasthu Nabhis along with a Vaastu Energy Helix Set can usher in Divine Energy forces to enter the building, strengthen the North East and nurture the Brahmastan or Brahmasthala.
5-It is said that the combination also smooths out energy friction, clears stagnant energy, dissolves energy blockage and rejuvenates the energy path along golden helix – gains divine strength, blessing and protection to the household.
6-Many Vaastu Shastra Pandits recommend ideal placement of an energy instilled and programmed Vaastu Nabhi in both North East and Brahmastan to invite and retain divine forces.
7-The Vaastu Shanku or Vaastu Nabhi has three sections – the bottom section has a square shape, the middle section is octagonal and the highest one is circular – they correspond to Earth, to the intermediate space and to Heaven, respectively. The Nabhi contains within itself all the three divinities making up the Divine Trinity of the Supreme Godhead, namely Lord Brahma, Lord Maha Vishnu and Lord Shiva.
8-Lord Brahma abides in the lower part (Satwa Brahma Bhaga), Lord Vishnu occupies the middle portion (Raja Vishnu Bhaga) and finally there is Shiva, in the top portion (Tama Rudra Bhaga).
9- Many Vaastu Shastra Pandits recommend Vaastu Nabhis which are made of brass, copper and wood . It is said that Vastu Nabhis made of wood are better because carved from the Divine Wood : Shriparni. Tree Wood is quite special. The Shreeparni Tree (or Sevan Tree) is Sacred and is the Swayambu of the Wealth Gooddess Sri Maha Lakshmi –
10-It is said that Laxmiji’s prosperity energy is inherently and permanently present in this divine wood (revered as the Kalpavriksha or Karpaga Viruksham of the Kaliyuga) and hence is very special. So a Divine Energy Tool like a Vaastu Nabhi made of Divine Sevan Wood is doubly auspicious and undoubtedly the best.
11-Placement : For new construction, insert one Vaastu Brahma Shanku in Brahmasthan and one in North East corner (Ishanya or Ishaan) – insert vertically in a pit, with the rounded portion entering first. In an already constructed flat or office, place it vertically straight, with the square portion at the bottom and one each in Brahmasthan and North East (Ishanya) on a compact stand above 6 feet from the floor level.
12-The Vaastu Brahma Shanku or Nabhi to be kept in the Brahmasthan should be placed within 10 to 15 feet of the Brahmasthan (in any direction). It goes without saying that like all genuine remedies, the Shriparni Vaastu Brahma Nabhi should be systematically Cleansed , Energized (Prana Prathishta) and Programmed .
13-In case of industrial units, proper care should be taken to ensure that no heavy machineries or heavy objects are placed at the center of the factory. This may result in the production of sub-standard goods, pile up of inventory and rejection of the manufactured goods.
14-In homes and offices, defects in Brahmasthana might result in deterioration of physical and mental health. In flats or apartments above the ground floor, physical Brahmasthan does not exist and might create highly fluctuating fortunes and solid obstacles. It is also advised that in
buildings of more than 10 years age, remedial measures be initiated to strengthen the Brahmasthana.
15-A Brahmasthan is an important part of any house or built-up space that should be kept empty from any construction or interior objects’. Brahmasthan is a central zone in a building. Therefore, it should be free from any obstructions in the form of a pillar, beam, furniture, kitchen utilities, etc. However, it can be covered from the top.
16-The vacant space in a building generally refers to the distance between the house or main building and the boundary of the building, or a property. The more open space is, the more positive vibes are created in and around the house, which in turn influence the earth energies present in the house and the Panchtattva in the correct Vastu directions and zones.
SEVEN GUIDELINES;-
Following are a few guidelines on Brahmasthan that can help you to make your house Vastu-perfect:
1-Staircases constructed in the Brahmasthan of the house will affect the mental and financial growth of the residents. 2- There should never be a beam at the centre (the Brahmasthan) of the house. 3-Toilets and bathrooms cannot be built at the centre of the house. 4-The kitchen at the centre may have some adverse effects on the health of the residents. 5-Sleeping in the Brahmasthan will create confusion in the life of a person. 6-Puja room or prayer place and dining hall can be built at the centre of the Brahmasthan.
7-Ideally, as per Vastu, there should be more open space in the North, East or the North-East &West zones of your home.Always keep the Brahmasthan open and obstacle-free to enjoy harmony, peace & prosperity at your home.
THE KEY POINT;-
As a matter of fact, Brahma is the symbol of Creator. So, never work directly on Brahma. Vastu Shastra strongly recommends not to do any remedy in Brahma’s place or Brahmasthan of a Built-up Space or Building. This is because by doing this you create Genetic Disorders.Never touch this place ,because this is the place of manifestation & we can't define the purpose before manifestation. So strengthen the North East and nurture the Brahmastan or Brahmasthala.
