NAMANTO ADIGURU SHANKARA, SRI GANESHA , MA DASMAHAVIDYA NAMAN TO POSITIVE ENERGIES FOR RENDERING HELP & NAMAN TO NEGATIVE ENERGIES FOR NOT OBSTRUCTING 07 FACTS TO INTRODUCE THIS BOOK ....
1-The Vijñāna Bhairava Tantra (as Vigyan Bhairav Tantra) is a key Tantra text of the Trika school of Kashmir Shaivism in Sanskrit language.
2-The text is a chapter from the Rudrayamala Tantra, a Bhairava Agama. Bhairavi, the goddess, asks Bhairava to reveal the essence of the way to realization of the highest reality. In his answer Bhairava describes 112 ways to enter into the universal and transcendental state of consciousness.
3-Cast as a discourse between the god Bhairava and his consort Bhairavi, it briefly presents 112 Tantric meditation methods or centering techniques (dharana). These include several variants of breath awareness, concentration on various centers in the body, non-dual awareness, Mantra chanting, imagination and visualization and contemplation through each of the senses.A prerequisite(necessity) to success in any of the 112 practices is a clear understanding of which method is most suitable to the practitioner.
4-References to it appear throughout the literature of Kashmir Shaivism, indicating that it was considered to be an important text in the monistic school of Kashmir Shaiva philosophy. Trika and Kashmiri Shaiva tradition names the Absolute Reality as Bhairava.
5-Combination of three alphabets bha + ra + va form the word ‘’Bhairava”. Each of these three alphabets means three different acts of God. ‘bha’ means sustenance of the universe, ‘ra’ means dissolution of the universe and ‘va’ means manifestation of the universe.
6-Vijnana Bhairava Tantra is the knowledge about the highest state of consciousness. It describes methods to merge the human consciousness with the divine consciousness or the individual consciousness with cosmic consciousness.
7-The theme of Vijnana Bhairava Tantra is dharana, or concentration, a subject most relevant today. This new translation and commentary of a classical tantric text sheds much light on the practice of dharana, which until now has been revealed only by peripheral (outer) explanations.
THE REASON TO COMPILE THIS BOOK
10 FACTS;-
1-Gautam Buddha declared that two thousand five hundred years after his time, a new cycle will begin. We will not be here to see it happening, but in the next two hundred years, especially for India, and in many ways in the rest of the world also, developments will happen, especially on the spiritual plane. In many ways it will start a new revolution of its own. This point of time that we are in is the most spiritually significant for the world. 2-Right now, the world is more comfortable than it ever was. At the same time, it is more stressful and uncertain than it ever was. Never before have the general mass of people been as interested in spirituality as they are today. As strife and struggle in the world has increased, interest in the inner world has also increased. In a way, if you look at it, this is a tremendous step. 3-If this process continues, if this interest deepens in every human being on the planet, it is the solution and salvation for humanity in many ways. There was a time when one Ashoka or Gautama Buddha realized that conquering the external does not get us anywhere. But today, an ordinary citizen in the world is beginning to realize this. 4-This is simply because we have the aid of science and technology with which all of us can see that we can go to the Moon and Mars, but within ourselves, we are not getting anywhere.A moment like this is significant spiritually; the world is becoming more spiritual than ever before because strife, struggle and suffering has reached its peak in so many ways. 5-Pain is just there in the body. Suffering is something that you create. But you need not create it. If you are aware, you will not create suffering for yourself. The only reason why anyone would create suffering for himself is because he is unaware. 6-How can someone be bodiless? As there is a physical body, there is a mental body and an energy body. The energy body is called pranamayakosha. In the energy body, there are 72,000 nadis or pathways through which the energy moves. 7-All the 72,000 nadis need not be active for you to exist here physically. With just a few fundamental ones, you can live a full physical life. If all the 72,000 nadis become active, you will have no sense of body. It will not exist in your experience. Can you imagine the freedom of sitting without the body? 8-For example, if you want to sit and meditate, your legs start hurting and after sometime, all you are is just leg pain. All other human qualities evaporate. But if you activate all the 72,000 nadis, if you sit here, there is no sense of body. You can use the body whichever way you want, but the body has no power over you. 9-One example that is very popular around the world is Jesus. Nails were being driven into his hands and legs. If nails are driven into your hands and legs, what would you do? You would scream, yell and curse the whole world. But it seems he said, “Forgive them for they know not what they do.” Can a man say this if he is suffering? It does not mean that there is no pain. 10-Pain is there. Probably his body was so much more sensitive than yours. Definitely there was pain, but there was no suffering. When he said, “They know not what they do,” all he was saying is that they are unaware.Knowledge+karuna+less weight of desire can lead you to bodiless stage.
MY REQUEST;-
While attempting this book, care has been taken to avoid ambiguity, by expressing everything in simple language, without resorting to complicate things by adding Sanskrit Shlokas etc. I am grateful to Prakhar ji, because of him, it is online today. I am not a scholar, only a simple bhakt, so it is requested to overlook my mistakes.
