PREFACE NAMAN TO ADIGURU SHANKARA, NAMAN TO SRI GANESHA , NAMAN TO POSITIVE & NEGATIVE ENERGIES, NAMAN TO MA DASMAHAVIDYA, NAMAN TO DAKSHINAMURTI SHIVA, 04 FACTS TO INTRODUCE THIS BOOK ....
1- In the Hinduism, all the great scriptures are written in sutras. As you go higher; you find brevity of speech. there is a stage, the sutras of Patanjali, the Brahmasutras, the Bhaktisutras…Sutra means the most condensed statement, so thin as if it is just a thread. Sutra literally means a thread, a thin thread. Sutras means small seeds which contain thousands of flowers. But then you will have to sow them, grow them, protect them, and wait for the spring.Everything inessential has been cut; only the most essential has been saved. It is the most telegraphic way of expressing things. 2-A sutra needs a commentary.. For example, all the great sutras start with one word, ''Athat''. Athat means now. Brahmasutras,Bhaktisutras, the Yoga Sutras; they all start with athat. The most important sutras from 'The Brahmasutra' starts with this statement: “Athato brahman jigyasa ...Now the inquiry into the ultimate/God.” 3-In fact, to be in the now is to be in the inquiry for God.The mind is always in the past or in the future. And God always is ... now. To inquire into now is really to inquire into God. unless you have experienced now – the present moment – you cannot inquire into God.There is no other book in the world which has been commented upon so much. It can mean only one thing: his statements are almost mines of meaning. 4-You can go on digging and you will go on finding more and more – fresher sources of water, fresher sources of meaning and significance.Sat-chit-anand is not equivalent to athato brahma jigyasa ,The inquiry into the ultimate is the first step and sat-chit anand is the last step. Sat-chit-anand is not an inquiry, it is the ultimate result of the inquiry: you have come to the conclusion. The statement of Badarayana is the beginning and sat-chit-anand is the end. They are not synonymous, although they are deeply connected with each other.
MY REQUEST;- Without the inquiry, there is no possibility of realizing the conclusion. To write something about 'SADHNA' is just like to show a lamp to glittering sun;but being a bhakt ,its my effort ,which needs your blessings...THIS BOOK IS DEDICATED TO MOTHER KAMAKSHYA....
