MUDRAS TO ACTIVATE SOLAR PLEXUS CHAKRA

09 FACTS;- 1-The solar plexus is an extremely important chakra. It is one of the main pumping stations of energy around your four bodies. Physically there is an above average amount of nerve endings in this vicinity. 2-By balancing the solar plexus you have a dynamic impact above and below this chakra. If any of you have issues with empathy or clairsentience i.e. you are overwhelmed by other peoples emotions whilst in a public place (sacral chakra) balancing this chakra will help dampen the impact of energies around you. 3- If you have emotional issues either overly emotional or quite cold (heart chakra) balancing the solar plexus will help improve emotional balance. In itself an out of balance solar plexus chakra can be responsible for anxiety and nervous conditions, and issues of self identity. 4-By balancing the solar plexus chakra you will be far better placed to step into your own personal power and become a responsible individual in charge of your own destiny. 5-The Fire Element: the Thumb..On each of our hands, the ‘fire’ energy of the solar plexus chakra (manipura) is contained in our thumb, the only finger that can touch and stimulate all of the other fingers. Our solar plexus chakra is like a battery that drives, or fires up, the other chakras; yogis believe that this is where we store excess prana (subtle energy). 6-In our physical body, manipura controls digestion, our muscles and our sense of sight. Energetically, it governs our will power, self-esteem, self-confidence, self-image, charisma, courage, ambition, integrity and decisiveness. 7-The Sanskrit term ‘agni’, usually translated as ‘fire’ or ‘fire god’, actually includes all matter in radiant forms, including the Sun, light, lightening, heat, magnetism and electricity. The qualities of fire are energy, warmth, luminosity, radiance and the power of transmutation. Working with fire mudras can help you to develop your inner potential and transform your life into anything you want it to be. 8-Without ‘agni’, in the form of light, you would not be able to see anything. Being ‘seen’ also signifies your need to be acknowledged as a unique individual. When this need is not met, such as when someone ignores you or demeans you, you may tend to get angry. Anger, whether expressed or not, as well as hatred, vanity and pride, are negative emotions associated with an imbalance in the solar plexus chakra. 9-Contemplating the Self as the manipura chakra, which is luminous like the rising Sun, and gazing at the tip of the nose, the yogi shakes the world. DESCRIPTION OF FOUR MUDRAS 1-RUDRA MUDRA;- 02 POINTS;- 1-Rudra is another name for Lord Shiva. Shiva is the destroyer among the Trideva that destroys and clears away path to reach our higher potential. Shiva is also considered the greater mediator in the world. Rudra mudra is a very powerful mudra. 2-Ruda Mudra for Solar Plexus & MoreThe Rudra Mudra helps to govern and activate the Solar Plexus Chakra. THREE STEPS;- Here are the steps of the Rudra Mudra that will help you to gain control over the Solar Plexus Chakra and center the body: 1. Sit down comfortably with your back straight and chin and chest held high. Breathe in and out through your nose. 2. Raise your hands and press the tips of each index finger, thumb, and ring finger together. The middle finger and little finger should extend straight out. 3. Hold this posture for at least five minutes. You can perform the Rudra Mudra up to three to six times in a day. 2-HAKINI MUDRA;- 02 POINTS;- 1-The Hakini Mudra in Yoga can be described as a gesture in which you need to join the tips of the five fingers on your right hand, with those of the left. It is said that this mudra, which is named after the God Hakini, helps boost thinking and concentration. It is believed that this gesture is linked to the Third-Eye Chakra, where your imagination and intuition are located. 2-The Hakini Mudra itself is a mudra designed to assist in developing memory and brain retention however like many other mudra there are multiple purposes. Place this mudra over the solar plexus (like a church steeple, where the solar plexus is the church i.e. the finger tips pointing away from the body) and you will create a vortex which balances and mobilises the solar plexus chakra. FIVE STEPS;- 1-Hold your hands up in front of you, so that your palms face each other, but do not touch. 2-Bring the fingertips of your right hand towards the fingertips of your left hand so that they are touching each other. 3-Move your gaze upwards 4-Inhale while you place your tongue against the roof of your mouth 5-Exhale while allowing your tongue to relax 3-DIGESTION MUDRA ;- 07 POINTS;- 1-Right hand thumb touches index and middle fingers, while the left hand thumb touches middle and ring fingers. 2-It activates the Solar Plexus or Manipura chakra. It’s one of the best Mudras, a special Mudra. Chant OM RUM Namaha. 3-Mantra and Mudra will activate stomach, liver, pancreas and intestines. It is also called as Acceptance Mudra. Whatever happens in your life has to be accepted by you. 4-This will also work when you are in distress or whenever you feel sad, making you accept life as it is. 5-When you can’t accept the other person, be in this Mudra then you will be able to accept t 6-This Mudra is important because there are two rules in life: You get what you do not want. 7-We have to manage our life with whatever is happening, by accepting it. -We may need the forgiveness exercise too. If anybody is giving problem to us, anybody is angry with us, or plotting against us , by being in this Mudra and doing forgiveness exercise, We will establish harmony immediately. We can repeat the exercise and the Mudra as many times as possible. 4-MERUDANDA MUDRA 04 POINTS;- 1-This one or two-handed mudra is popular among both Indian dancers and yogis. ‘Meru’ is the name of the mythological mountain at the centre of the universe; ‘danda’ is a stick or staff. ‘Merudanda’ is another term for the spine. 2-Meditation using merudanda mudra, with your hands resting on your respective knees, helps to align your spine, creating vertical balance in your body; merudanda mudra cultivates feelings of physical and emotional equilibrium. 3-It affects the steadiness of your manipura chakra, at the horizontal centre of our body, thus promoting emotional and energetic balance. 4-As manipura governs your sense of sight, this is also an excellent mudra to use while practicing eye exercises.
