MUDRA TO ACTIVATE HEART CHAKRA ;-
03 FACTS;-
1-The heart chakra holds a unique place in the chakra system as it governs as a bridge between the lower/physical chakras and the upper/spiritual chakras. It is the melding of the gross and the subtle here with love that we find the true union of the physical world and the spiritual world.
2-Lower chakras can atrophy (decay)without the touch of the divine, and upper chakras have trouble staying grounded without the the touch of physical reality. We need both kinds of energy and the heart is the bridge.
3-We can use the following mudra to fortify the bridge of the heart and bring our energy into alignment in the chakras.
GYAN MUDRA;-
06 FACTS;-
1-Gyan mudra is a simple and widely used mudra. It is often used in meditation and in beginning yoga practices. It is also a beautiful practice for opening the heart and it offers the bridging of energy of the lower and higher chakras much in the same way the heart bridges the energy of the lower and upper chakras.
2-To practice this mudra, bring the thumb and the first finger of the right and left hands together. Bring the left hand to rest on the leg, palm face up.
3- Bring the right hand, palm facing the chest, to the chest with the thumb and first finger resting on the sternum. Close the eyes and start to find the breath.
4-Give yourself about 2-3 minutes to drop into the flow of the energy in the body. Feel the rise of the energy up the spine on the inhale and the descent of energy down the spine on the exhale.
5-Follow this for 10 breaths and then move your awareness into the heart. Focus on the heart and begin to draw energy up the spine from base of spine to heart and down the spine from crown of head to heart.
6-Keep drawing breath from earth and sky into the body and into the heart. Stay here for 2-5 minutes and when you are done, release the mudra and spend 10 breaths noticing any shifts in your body.
MUDRA TO ACTIVATE THROAT CHAKRA ;-

1-The Throat Chakra is the energetic space located at the center of the throat. It is represented as a deep sapphire blue color. Visually, the Throat Chakra is symbolized by a 16-petaled lotus surrounding a downward pointing triangle, with a circle at its center.
2-A downward pointing triangle traditionally symbolizes the feminine and water, and the circle evokes the shape of the full moon. Visualize this space as a portal to truth and self-expression. When the Throat Chakra is balanced and energized, we listen to others as much as we speak, and work with expressing our deepest truths.
3-Someone with an active Throat Chakra may speak in a very clear way with words that resonate from her heart. TECHNIQUE to activate and energize the THROAT CHAKRA;-

2-Chant it as you would chant the mantra "om," by taking a deep inhale, and at the top of the breath, allowing the mantra to be spoken for the extension of the exhale. Pause for a full round of breath between recitations of this mantra.
3-Another great mantra for this chakra is "I am free to speak my truth." This is a great mantra to put on a sticky note somewhere where you can see it every day.
GRANTHITA/KNOT MUDRA; -

1-A mudra, or hand gesture, that speaks to the Throat Chakra is called "Granthita Mudra," also known as Knot
Mudra.This is a great mudra to do to unravel any knots that may be residing in the throat space.
2-Removing any rings you may have on to allow this mudra to be more comfortable.
3-You can use this mudra at your throat to help clear the way for expression of your authentic self.

4-To make this mudra, interlace your fingers together as though you were folding your hands. Press your index fingers to your thumbs, and raise your hands to your throat space. Interlace your last three fingers (middle, ring and pinky) together inside of your hands. Interlock the index fingertips and thumbs to form two rings and hold this mudra in front of the base of your throat.
MUDRA TO ACTIVATE THIRD EYE (Ajna)CHAKRA ;-

1-You can use an ancient East Indian yoga mudra method to open your third eye chakra. Mudras are special hand positions believed by yogis to have the power to direct more energy to specific chakras. To enhance the effect for third eye activation, simultaneously chant the Aum or Om sound as you hold the mudra position.

SEVEN STEPS OF THIRD EYE MUDRA;-
Here’s how to use a traditional yogic third eye mudra for pineal gland/third eye activation:
1-Position your hands in front of the lower part of your Cheast.
2-Your middle fingers should remain straight and touch at the tops while pointing forward.
3-Your other fingers are bent and touch at the upper portions of the fingers.
4-Your thumbs should point toward you and touch at their tops.
5-Close your physical eyes and mentally focus your inner vision on the position of your third eye chakra on your forehead – in between and just above the eyebrows.
6-Do not strain your physical eyes.
7-Chant Om or Aum while remaining relaxed and contemplative.
WHAT IS THE SIGNIFICANCE OF CROWN (Sahasrara) CHAKRA ?-

1-Sahasrara chakra symbolizes obtaining supra-mental consciousness of the truth that one is all, and all is one. This is the seventh chakra located at the crown of the head, thus also called as Crown chakra. The seventh chakra is located at the crown of the head (“soft spot” as an infant) called Sahasrara, means thousand petals Lotus. Ajna also called as Crown chakra.

Element: Divine Consciousness
2-Sahasrara is the most sublime chakra of pure consciousness. This chakra brings us knowledge, wisdom, understanding, spiritual connection, and bliss. It is a powerful chakra considering as the seat of the intuition and higher knowledge; depicted as a halo in paintings over the heads of saints and the like.
3-Sahasrara is both formless and with form; it is nothing and everything at the same time by merging of consciousness and Prana. It is shoonya, or in fact, the void of totality.
4-When kundalini Shakti reaches Sahasrara, begins the union of Shiva and Shakti, a great experience of intoxicating bliss and self-realization called samadhi dawns. This indicates the individual dies to this world; it does not mean the physical body dies rather means the mundane awareness or individual awareness (self-consciousness dies, and universal consciousness is born).
5-You have lost all identity, and now you merge with ‘All That Is’. Once attained, the Yogi gains supreme knowledge and passes beyond life and death. This union is referring to as Samadhi; the seer seeing and seen are merged as a unified whole. There is only single awareness; no multiple or dual awareness.
6-From Sahasrara, the nectar of immortality (Amrita) flows in a constant stream. Sahasrara chakra is located above Brahma-randhra ("the cave of Brahma"), a hole in the crown of the head through which the soul escapes at death. Yogi’s practice Kapala Moksha by separating him from the physical body at the time of death, Brahma-randhra burst open and the soul leaves through this. This opening is called the ‘Door to Pure Consciousness’ or door of liberation.
7-Location for Sahasrara chakra is four finger-breadths above the crown of the head (the “soft spot” as an infant). Sahasrara chakra is the upper terminal point of Sushumna nadi.

9-The Crown Chakra (Seventh Chakra) is associated with the color violet or White is the highest color of light spectrum or rainbow. White light contains all color united in an incomparable brilliant pure light. It represents wisdom, spiritual, dignified, impressive, dramatic, vitality, relaxation, determination, spirituality, psychic awareness, higher self, motivation, passion, excitement.
10-The chakra has a lotus flower with thousand petals, arranged in 20 layers of 50 petals each. It should more aptly describe as a lotus with an infinite number of petals. All the 50 Sanskrit alphabets are repeated 20 times.
11-“Brahmarandhra” (the door to God) or the “Centre of a Million Rays” because it radiates like the Sun. The energy of all Nadis unites in this center, like the waters of a thousand rivers pouring into the sea.

13-Sahasrara chakra deals with spiritual connection, enlightenment, universal energy, surrender, knowing, inspiration, prayer, faith, integration of the whole, conscious awareness, and understanding cosmic. Sahasrara chakra governs the upper skull, cerebral cortex, pineal gland and nervous system.
14-Bija or Seed Mantra is absolute silence. Sense of this chakra is empathy and unity (Super-consciousness). The Verb associated with the seventh chakra is “I know” or “I understand.”
15-Element for this chakra is beyond element or all five elements; often consider as Cosmic Energy experienced as an inner light emanating from the deepest part of our being. This stems from the Source, feels like an ultimate intelligence and a sense of all knowing.
16-Balanced Sahasrara chakra manifests self-realization, bright, radiate, rebirth, total selflessness, divine love, charming, and charismatic. One's sense of love is magnifying to the degree everyone feels it, and sees everything as one.
17-Unbalanced Sahasrara chakra leads out of touch with our own spirit, inappropriate self-control, indecisive, self-centeredness, and spiritual poverty. Other problems are mystical depression, feel-emptiness, laziness, migraine headache, diseases of muscular, skeletal and the skin, chronic exhaustion without any physical ailments, and sensitivity to light, sound, environment.
17-A-The person will have no boundaries, no rules, and will be in a constant state of chaos regarding themselves and others. There is a sense of instability, unreliability, fear, and insecurity.
18-The foods that nourish this chakra are fasting to detoxify, which is beneficial for the development of the chakra as it awakens to the highest form of the spiritual communication.
UTTARABODHI MUDRA TO ACTIVATE CROWN (Sahasrara) CHAKRA ;-

1-Uttarabodhi mudra is a yogic hand gesture of enlightenment.It is believed that uttarabodhi mudra is great for improving self-confidence and realizing the inner Self. It removes fear and teaches one to not worry about anything but God.
2-Uttarabodhi mudra is also said to help inspiration, problem-solving and decision-making, as well as improve focus and concentration.
3-Mudra for the Crown Chakra is Uttarabodhi Mudra; Uttara means "realization," and bodhi means "enlightenment." This mudra symbolizes the experience of non-separateness, described in the Yoga Sutra as samadhi.
STEPS;-
06 POINTS-;-
1-Index fingers touch one another and are extended, pointing toward the skies.
2-Remaining fingers are crossed and folded down.
3-Thumbs are cross or held next to each other. Clasped hands are held over the head.
4-The hands interlock in front of the navel, leaving the index fingers and thumbs extended. The tips of the index fingers touch, pointing upward, and the tips of the thumbs touch as well, pointing downward.
5-Practicing uttarabodhi mudra is a great way to calm the excited mind, or soothe the nerves before starting any seemingly overwhelming task.
6-The Uttarabodhi Mudra can perform at any time or place, for as long as you want. You can use it when you are feeling a lack of physical or mental energy, when you want to relax, when you need an innovative idea or a flash of inspiration.
PYRAMID MUDRA;-
04 POINTS;-
1-Holding this mudra high above your head can open the gateway to universal consciousness, divinity and transcendence.
2-Place the tips of your index fingers and thumbs together to touch, forming a pyramid shape. Allow the remaining fingers to extend upward, keeping them straight. Raise this mudra to about 6-7 inches above the crown of your head.
3-Perform the mudras in a comfortable seated position for 1-5 minutes each. If you're only focusing on one mudra at a time, extend the time frame as long as you would for your regular meditation practice. There are no right or wrong ways to do mudras — enjoy these as part of your regular yoga routine to cultivate higher awareness.
4-This mudra should be practiced for 15 to 20 minutes, one to three times a day to get the best results, but can be performed any time and any place as needed.

1-Yoga for this chakra is Matsyasana, Yoga Mudra, Savasana and Sirsasana (Headstand) or Ardha Sirsasana (Half headstand).
2-Nadi Shodhana Pranayama is also a relaxing breathing exercise that balances the right and left hemispheres of the brain, which is good for this chakra.
3-Reflexology for Sahasrara chakra: if you are feeling lack of physical or mental energy, want to relax, need an innovative idea or a flash of inspiration. You can rebalance it by stimulating reflex point of the pituitary gland.
4- In the feet, it is in the big toe, just above the bump parallel to the base of the nail. Similarly, in the hand, it is slightly above the thumb center parallel to the base of the nail . Massage these points by gently kneading with your thumbs for about 30-seconds (or slowly count up to 30). It is even better to massage the whole thumb, the reflex point of the entire brain.
