16 FACTS;- ;- 1-All the religions in the world are the feathers of the same bird i.e., God with different colours. There is only one God and there is only one universe. Similarly the man is also only one. Man should aim that one God and he should belong to all the religions in the universe. He should pick up the diamonds from all the religions and use in his spiritual path. 2-From childhood we are wearing blinkers ( a pair of small leather screens attached to a horse's bridle to prevent it seeing sideways and behind and being startled) & able only to see things one way and unwilling or unable to consider other possibilities.. 3-One can have love towards the nationality. Every nation has some physical boundaries. The people who are living in that nation have that nationality. Thus there is a meaning in the nationality because it has physical sense. But in the case of religion and spiritualism there is no physical sense. 4-Every religion belongs to every man. Therefore in religious and spiritual matters all the religions can be used. The human incarnation in every religion announces that He is the universal preacher. The message of Lord Krishna i.e., Bhagavat Gita is for the entire world. The message of Jesus i.e., Bible is for the entire world. The message of Mohammed is for the entire world. So there is no need of conversion of religions. 5-Just like in science the invention of Einstein is useful for the whole world, every religious preaching is for everybody. Different scientists belonging to different countries have discovered different scientific inventions. The subject science contains all these inventions. If any invention is removed the science become discontinuous. Similarly the spiritualism consists of the preaching of the preachers belonging to various countries. 6-The spiritualism must be built up by the preaching of Lord Krishna, Jesus, Mohammed, Buddha, Mahavir etc. Spiritualism means truth like science. Different religions are following their preachers and they have taken the essence of their scriptures into the practice. Such traditional practices are like different experimental parts of Science. 7-The scriptures of different religions are like the different theories in various chapters of science. In science the student does not distinguish the scientist based on his nationality. Similarly in spiritualism one should not have repulsion or attraction to any scripture or tradition in the World. 8-The spiritualism requires divine virtues, which are emphasized in various religions. The firm faith of Islam, the infinite love of Christianity, the tolerance towards other religions of Hinduism, the social service of Bhuddhism and the non violence of Jainism are important virtues of the spiritualism. These are the practical traditional aspects of various religions, which are more precious than those scriptures. Tradition is the most important essence of the scripture. 9-One must praise the firm faith of a Muslim on God associated with strict regularity and discipline. People are worshipping God either in the leisure time or on a holiday. But a Muslim worships God on every day whether it is a holiday or not. He worships God regularly at some intervals of time whether it is leisure or working time. The faith on God and the importance to God supercedes everything and every activity. This is a aspect of spiritualism. 10- The infinite love is a tradition of Christianity . Bible says “revenge is mine”. The Christians love even their enemies proving that love is infinite. Love is God. God is infinite and so Love is infinite. Such infinite love can only attract the God. The proof of love is sacrifice in service. Christians sacrifice lot of their money for the spiritual works. Their love is so unlimited that they sacrifice money even to the spiritual centers of other religions. 11-Even if some religion is opposing their religion they fund the other religion and this shows their love even to enemies. Their love in the family bonds is very weak. So the love is stored in their hearts without flowing. This concentrated love in the heart flows entirely towards God and so they sacrifice lot of their earnings for the work of God. They do not store the wealth for their children, and they ask their children to earn and live after certain age. 12-In Hinduism, every Hindu contains photos of different forms of God in their houses . At the same time they find only one God (Para Brahma) in all those forms of God. They treat the different forms of God as the different dresses of the same actor. This indicates that there is only one God for the entire world and Lord Krishna, Jesus, Mohammed, Buddha, and Mahavir are only the different dresses of the same God. This brings the brotherly hood of all the human beings in the entire world. 13-In be Buddhism. Buddha kept silent on God because Veda says that God is beyond even imagination. His silence is misunderstood as atheism. He concentrated on the society, which is entire universe. All the human beings in this universe must be uplifted through right knowledge. Buddha means knowledge. Any incarnation of God does the same work. 14-In Jainism people do not kill any living being. The highest justice (Dharma) is non-violence (Ahimsa). God has given life to any living being. What right you have to kill and eat it? You can kill even a human being if he disturbs the peace and justice of a human society. Lord killed evil people in that way. But to kill a living being which does not harm you in any way is the highest sin. God has given sufficient vegetarian food to all the living beings. Science proves today that non-vegetarian food is not good for health. 15-Similarly there are precious traditions of other religions which should be copied . It should be just like a book of science. Spiritualism is the most important practical line to achieve the grace of the God. As the Science is the universal subject, spiritualism must also be the universal subject. 16-The nations may have physical boundaries but the spiritualism is the single ocean in which all the religions mix like rivers. Every human being in this world must enter this ocean through a river and settle there as a sea fish. The man should not stop the journey while he is in the river. He should follow the journey of the river up to the end where he can find the sea with unlimited boundaries. The man is not moving along with his religion and is becoming stagnant as a river fish only. THE DOCTRINES OF RELIGIONS;- 02 FACTS;- 1-All ways of thought find a finalization in achieving the next step of our existence. You look to label the path, but the path has never changed. The way of the various thoughts is the only thing that redirects one into the path. 2-All paths are experiences, so to understand the true path one must experience everything as a seeker of the truth. The fountain that removes the stagnancy of the old to the sanctity of the new. This is the primary difference to each as they walk in and out of becoming who they/we are meant to be. 3-The only difference in all walks of life are the paths which are a personal preference to attain a semblance of collected thoughts as to the path agreed upon to gain a higher position. 4-Even without doctrines and decrees, the security produced in likeness is the strength of positions that create differences. Some lead one to self realization and the others find the collective group as the “body” to join in patron with the ladder effect to Oneness. HINDUISM;- THE NINE BELIEFS OF HINDUISM;- Our beliefs determine our thoughts and attitudes about life, which in turn direct our actions. By our actions, we create our destiny.Beliefs about sacred matters ;God, soul and cosmos--are essential to one's approach to life. Hindus believe many diverse things, but there are a few bedrock concepts on which most Hindus concur. The following nine beliefs, though not exhaustive, offer a simple summary of Hindu spirituality. 1-Hindus believe in a one, all-pervasive Supreme Being who is both immanent(existing ) and transcendent, both Creator and Unmanifest Reality. 2-Hindus believe in the divinity of the four Vedas, the world's most ancient scripture, and venerate the Agamas as equally revealed. These primordial hymns are God's word and the bedrock( the main principles on which something is based) of Sanatana Dharma, the eternal religion. 3-Hindus believe that the universe undergoes endless cycles of creation, preservation and dissolution. 4-Hindus believe in karma, the law of cause and effect by which each individual creates his own destiny by his thoughts, words and deeds. 5-Hindus believe that the soul reincarnates, evolving through many births until all karmas have been resolved, and moksha, liberation from the cycle of rebirth, is attained. Not a single soul will be deprived of this destiny. 6-Hindus believe that divine beings exist in unseen worlds and that temple worship, rituals, sacraments and personal devotionals create a communion with these devas and Gods. 7-Hindus believe that an enlightened master, or satguru, is essential to know the Transcendent Absolute, as are personal discipline, good conduct, purification, pilgrimage, self-inquiry, meditation and surrender in God. 8-Hindus believe that all life is sacred, to be loved and revered, and therefore practice ahimsa, noninjury, in thought, word and deed. 9-Hindus believe that no religion teaches the only way to salvation above all others, but that all genuine paths are facets of God's Light, deserving tolerance and understanding. NOTE;- Hinduism, the world's oldest religion, has no beginning--it precedes recorded history. It has no human founder. It is a mystical religion, leading the devotee to personally experience the Truth within, finally reaching the pinnacle of consciousness where man and God are one. Hinduism has four main denominations--Saivism, Shaktism, Vaishnavism and Smartism. BUDDHISM;- Buddhism believed all individuals irrespective of the age, race, and background could attain eternal happiness. One of the basic beliefs is that all delusions and negative mental states could be overcome through the practice of meditation. Another is reincarnation. Buddhist doctrines believed in the cycles of birth, life, death and rebirth. The doctrine stresses on these cycles and believe Nirvana is achieved when one sheds his desires and ego. "The Four Noble Truths" also is included in Buddhism. THE FOUR TRUTHS;- FIRST TRUTH ;- The first truth is "Dukkha" or suffering. According to this there is suffering in the life of every individual. Suffering includes loneliness, frustration, embarrassment, anger and fear. This is the reality and not pessimism. This explains how to avoid sufferings and achieve happiness. SECOND TRUTH ;- The second noble truth is "Samudaya". According to this truth craving and aversion are the root cause of suffering. Craving and greed deprive an individual of happiness and contentment. Unless an individual curbs his cravings for luxuries of life, he would not attain Nirvana. THIRD TRUTH ;- "Nirodha" is the third noble truth. This truth explains how an individual could overcome his sufferings and achieve happiness. As per to this belief, an individual should never dwell on the incidents that occurred in the past or think too much about his future. Life would be happy if an individual learns to live each day at a time. FOURTH TRUTH ;- "Marga" is the final truth. According to the fourth truth, to end your suffering and attain nirvana, an individual has to follow the "Eight-fold Path". The "Eight-fold Path" emphasizes on focusing one's mind on being aware of his thoughts and actions. It also gives importance to morality and perfect livelihood. You would have a better understanding of the "Four Noble Truths" by being compassionate to others and also by developing wisdom. NOTE;- Buddhist teachings could be understood and adopted by any individual. Buddhism believes that the root cause of a problem is an individual himself. Hence, the solution to his problem is within himself. It is believed Buddha had asked his followers to test the teachings for themselves before practicing the beliefs. BUDDHISM,JAINISM & HINDUISM;- 06 FACTS;- 1-The scriptures of Hinduism are the Shrutis (the four Vedas, which comprise the original Vedic Hymns, or Samhitas, and three tiers of commentaries upon the Samhitas, namely the Brahmanas, Aranyakas and Upanishads ; these are considered authentic, authoritative divine revelation. 2-Furthermore, Hinduism is also based on the Smritis (including the Rāmāyana, the Bhagavad Gītā [part of the Mahabharata cycle], and the Purānas), which are considered to be of secondary authority and of human creation. The Bhagavad Gita however enjoys a special status in that, it is considered on par with the Vedas by most Hindus. 3-Hinduism and Jainism have a rather similar view on the topic of asceticism, or, in simpler terms, abstinence. It is thought that their beliefs on the topic come from the early belief that some meditative and monastic practices cleanse the body of impurity. The Hindu theory of Karma gave Jainism a great deal of support to start promoting asceticism. 4-Both of these traditions attribute human greed, hatred, and delusion to the presence of impure residues (samskaras or vasanas) that must be cleansed as the individual person moves towards "freedom" (death). 5- Both of these religions believe that practicing asceticism is not only to the benefit of the individual but also to the benefit of the society as a whole. Nonviolence plays a large role in both of these religions so the concept of asceticism relies greatly on both of their beliefs. 5-In Hinduism (also in Jainism and Sikhism), the concept of moksha is akin to that of Buddhism's nirvana, but some scholars further claim that it is akin(of similar character) as well to Christianity's doctrine of salvation. 6-Hindu sannyasi Swami Tripurari states: in theory the sinners of the world are the beneficiaries of Christ’s sacrifice, but it is God the father for whose pleasure Christ underwent the crucifixion, even when the father’s joy in this scenario lies in the salvation of sinners. Christ represents the intermediary between God and humanity, and his life aptly illustrates the fact that it is sacrifice by which we come to meet our maker. Thus in Christ the Divine teaches us “the way” more than he does the goal. The Christ conception represents “the way” in the sense that the way is sacrifice, out of which love arises. The Krishna conception represents that for which we not only should, but must sacrifice. CHRISTIANITY;- 08 FACTS;- Here is a summary of Eight major doctrines BELIEVE ABOUT… 1-THE BIBLE ;- A-Christians believe that the Bible is the inerrant Word of God, which came about by Holy inspiration. This means that even though men, starting with Moses and ending with the disciple John, wrote the 66 books contained in the Bible, they were inspired by God and guided by the Holy Spirit to put to papyrus those truths that God wanted us to know. B-The Bible is the Word of God made know to us, and is good for preaching, teaching, and instructing men and women in the truth.Ultimately, the real value of the Bible is realized in our life as we apply the Scriptures to Life. 2-GOD;- A-Christians believe in one God, but in three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, which we refer to as the Trinity or the Godhead. The Three Persons of the Trinity appear to work separately from each other, but when you realize that God is omnipresent, everywhere at once, you can see how He can be with us now in the form of the Holy Spirit, and as Jesus when He walked the earth, and still be in Heaven in the form of the Father. B- It is one of the most questioned Christian doctrines. The view of God will impact the way they live…God is defined as Spirit, a person, life, self-existent, unchanging, unlimited by time and space, and a unity….God consistently works out His eternal plan by guiding and overseeing all things by His wise and holy purpose. 3-CHRIST;- Jesus was in fact God incarnate in human form. He is the second person in the Trinity who came to live among us, die for us, and resurrect that someday we might be able to live with Him forever. 4-THE HOLY SPIRIT;- A-The Holy Spirit is not merely a force, but has all the attributes of personality and is also God as the third person of the Trinity. The Holy Spirit’s work brings us to Christ and salvation, equips us for ministry, empowers us for service, and produces spiritual fruit in our life. The Holy Spirit is the third part of the Godhead or Trinity: The Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. B-The Holy Spirit is fully God and comes to inhabit the believer forever when we accept Christ as our Savior, to guide us into truth, to teach us, and to help us carry on the ministry of Jesus Christ here on earth. It is through the guidance of the Holy Spirit that we are able to interpret Scripture and learn what God wants us to know from His Word. Jesus promised that the Holy Spirit would be given to all believers. 5-HUMAN BEINGS ; - A- It is believed that we are created in the image of God. In the Garden of Eden, God created the first man, Adam, who was formed from the dust of earth and brought to life by the breath of God. God also created the first woman, Eve, by taking a rib from Adam. This is creation of man, so we are all descendants of Adam and Eve. B-People have both a physical and metaphysical aspect — body and soul or spirit. Because of our ancestral parent’s failure to obey God, sin was introduced into the human experience — causing the need for reconciliation to God our creator. C-Because of one man, Adam, sin came into this world, and as a result of that sin, death. We may not like the idea, but each generation after Adam, up to and including ours, was born into sin. This is what we believe and hold to, and this is why God, in the form of Jesus, had to come to take our punishment on the cross. 6-SALVATION;- A-There is only one way to Heaven, and that is through the person of Jesus Christ. Jesus died once for all that we may be saved. The Bible says that salvation can be found in no one else and not by works, lest any man boast. B-This means we must, through faith and belief in our hearts of what Jesus did for us, confess our sins to Christ and offer up to Him our lives as living sacrifices, at which time we are forgiven and enter into an eternal relationship with Christ. This is the only way to salvation. C-The single most significant experience in life is that involved in receiving the salvation provided by Christ on the Cross. This experience involves conversion, regeneration, justification, and sanctification and grants us eternal life with Christ. 7-THE CHURCH;- Jesus instituted the church as a means of Christians assembling together to encourage and help one another in the Christian life and to enable them to be more effective in reaching out to others. In summary, the “ekklesia (Greek for church) is a group of “called-out ones” established for worship, instruction, fellowship, and evangelism(the spreading of the Christian gospel by public preaching). 8-ESCHATOLOGY (END TIMES);- Eschatology literally means “the study of last things.” The doctrine of eschatology can be divided into two themes: “personal eschatology” which is the study of God’s final judgements and the enternal state — heaven or hell — and “prophetic eschatology” which is the study of the second coming of Christ and the various events related to His return. ;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;; ISLAM;- 05 FACTS;- 1-Hindu – Islamic relations began when Islamic influence first came to be found in the Indian subcontinent during the early 7th century. Hinduism and Islam are two of the world’s three largest religions. Hinduism is the socio-religious way of life of the Hindu people of the Indian subcontinent, their diaspora, and some other regions which had Hindu influence in the ancient and medieval times. 2-Islam is a strictly monotheistic religion in which the supreme deity is Allah, the last Islamic prophet being Muhammad ibn Abdullah, whom Muslims believe delivered the Islamic scripture, the Qur'an. 3-Hinduism mostly shares common terms with the other Indian religions, including Buddhism, Jainism and Sikhism. Islam shares common characteristics with Abrahamic religions–those religions claiming descent from the prophet Abraham–being, from oldest to youngest, Judaism, Christianity, Islam. 4-The Qur'an is the primary Islamic scripture. Muslims believe it to be the verbatim, uncreated word of Allah. Second to this in religious authority, and whence many practices of Islam derive, especially for Sunnis, are the Sunni six major collections of hadīth, which are traditional records of the sayings and acts of Muhammad. 5-Islam teaches on a multitude of topics. It is monotheistic, denies the deity of Christ, denies the Trinity, and denies salvation by grace alone. Salvation in Islam is sincere repentance with the hope that Allah will forgive the Muslim. However, Islam teaches the only way to be sure to go to heaven is to die in holy war. Note: All references are to the Quran (Koran) where applicable. ABOUT GOD;- 09 POINTS;- 1-There is only one God . 2-God is called Allah by Muslims . 3-Allah sees all things and is present everywhere . 4-Allah is the sole creator and sustainer of the universe . 5-Allah is not a Trinity but is one . 6-Allah is all-knowing and all-powerful . 7-Allah created the heaven and earth . 8-Salvation and Judgment 9-Allah will judge all people on the day of judgment . ABOUT OTHER;- 13 POINTS;- 1-There is an afterlife . There are such things as angels, created by Allah, that are created from light. Angels are obedient slaves incapable of refusing to do Allahï's will. The angel Gabriel brought the revelation of the Koran to Muhammad . 2-The Holy Spirit is the angel Gabriel . There is no actual verse where the Holy Spirit is said to be Gabriel or is identified as Gabriel. These verses show that both the Holy Spirit and Gabriel brought down the revelation. 3-Jinn are unseen beings, created from fire but are not angels. They have communities. There are good and bad Jinn. 4-The Devil, called Iblis, is a bad Jinn. 5-Jesus was a great prophet but not the son of God , is not divine , was not crucified . 6-Muhammad is Allah's greatest and last prophet, and his message supersedes all other past prophets including Jesus. 7-The Koran is Allah's word. He literally spoke it to Gabriel who gave it to Muhammad. 8-There are other holy writings, but they are superseded by the Koran. 9-Fasting is to be observed during the month of Ramadan . 10-Drinking alcohol is forbidden . 11-Gambling is forbidden . 12-Man is made from the dust of the earth . 13-There is no last-minute repentance. IN NUTSHELL 06 FACTS;- 1-Buddhism, Hinduism and Christianity differ on fundamental beliefs on heaven, hell and reincarnation, to name a few. From the Hindu perspective, heaven (Sanskrit: swarga) and hell (naraka) are temporary places, where every soul has to live, either for the good deeds done or for their sins committed. After a soul suffers its due punishment in hell, or after a soul has enjoyed enough in heaven, it again enters the life-death cycle. There is no concept in Hinduism of a permanent hell like that in Christianity; rather, the cycle of "karma" takes over. Permanent heaven or bliss is "moksha". 2-The Holy Trinity of Christianity, consisting of the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, is sometimes seen as roughly analogous to the Trimurti of Hinduism, whose members -- Brahma, Vishnu and Shiva—are seen as the three principal manifestations of Brahman, or Godhead. The specific formulation of this trinitarian relationship is not identical between the two religions; for example, in Hinduism there is a Parabrahma, or an ultimate creator who created the Trimurti, for which there exists no parallel in Christianity. 3-Some consider Brahma to be more similar to the demiurge ( responsible for the creation of the universe)of Christian gnosticism(The doctrines of various religious sects) , in that he (at least initially) wrongly thought himself as the "Creator" and also as the highest or even the only god. In this case, the Hindu version of the Trinity could be seen as Brahma (Father), Sankarshan or Vishnu (Holy spirit), and Mahesh or Shiva (Son; analogous to Christ). 4-Christianity revolves heavily around the life of Jesus Christ as detailed in the Bible, whereas Hinduism is not based on any one personality or one book, but rather on the philosophy that there is a god, or no god and just self, etc. 5-Nevertheless, some scholars have studied whether there are links between the story of Jesus and that of Krishna; "Krishnology" is a term coined to express these claimed theological parallels between Krishnaism and the Christological dogmas of Christianity. 6-The Christian Ashram Movement, a movement within Christianity in India, embraces Vedanta and the teachings of the East, attempting to combine the Christian faith with the Hindu ashram model, and Christian monasticism with the Hindu sannyasa tradition. In Western countries, Vedanta has influenced some Christian thinkers,While others in the anti-cult movement have reacted against the activities of immigrant gurus and their followers. ....SHIVOHAM...
